Let me ask you this. The Congressional resolution states that the CIC has the authority to make war on the terrorists responsible for 9/11 and for those that harbor or aided same. Do you agree with that?

Actually, I think the words of the resolution are a bit more vague than what you describe, but the answer is still, yes, I agree with that. And, if the evidence is presented proving that Iraq is responsible, then we should whack'em. I have no problem with the war on terrorism -- other than the fact that I don't think it is presently being pursued with the goal of safeguarding America from terrorism. I am leaning toward the opinion that it is being used to further other agendas.

A point worth remembering when we start getting all hot about other countries who gas their own citizens.

Officials: Prove Iraq Poses Threat

09/01/2002
By AP Staff

Washington -- Former Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger says it looks like an invasion of Iraq is in the cards -- even though the Bush administration hasn't clearly explained why.

Eagleburger -- who served the current president's father -- says he would support an attack on Iraq, if there's evidence that Saddam Hussein is very close to having nuclear weapons.

But Eagleburger tells NBC that so far, the administration has not presented that evidence.

And if the evidence is clear, Eagleburger wonders why the Bush administration hasn't been able to persuade the NATO allies to support military action.

On the same program, Republican Senator Fred Thompson of Tennessee said he believes there will be an attack on Iraq -- even if the United States has to do it alone.

Another Republican, Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel, told ABC the United States should use diplomacy before launching military action against Iraq.

But former Secretary of State Alexander Haig tells "Fox News Sunday" there is no reason to seek another UN resolution against Iraq, which has repeatedly violated the previous resolution.

And you call me immature? I've inhaled CS several times, no lasting damage. VX and Mustard Gas on the other hand you don't get to do twice. There is no moral equivalence between the two, none.

That doesn't excuse the disgrace at Waco of course.

You compare yourself to the children who were gassed to death at Waco? Come, on. You aren't that crass.

Now you're acting like a shmuck. I didn't compare myself to the dead children. You compared tear gas to nerve gas. You should be embarassed either at your ignorance or your moral relativism. That you're not takes you down a couple of rungs.

Speaking of ignorance -- would you mind explaining what chemical compound is created with CS gas is combusted? I'm sure with your experience you'll have no problem coming up with the answer to that. And, if you get stuck, you can refer to the autopsy reports of the children from Waco. They didn't die of bullet wounds, fire, concussion, or falling debris. It was a very specific chemical compound that was identified as the cause of death.

Take your strawman and shove it JR. I'm sick of you and your bs. I don't need any lectures from you on dead children, not now, not ever.

Well now, it would seem that we've touched upon a nerve here. Haven't we? You aren't going to insult your way out of this one, hotrod. You can yell and call names and throw distractions left and right, but the facts are out there for all to see. Only the worst government shills still try to pretend that Waco was legit or that the people who were murdered inside that church were deserving of their fate. The United States government gassed and burned them, and shot any who tried to escape the inferno by running.
