Daisy ALWAYS manages to post the perfect graphics throughout her threads - and I'm usually trying so hard to catch up, that I forget to post many during the comments!
At any rate, we are both happy you are happy with the tribute - and, ohio, you know that we mean it when we say there will always be a spot for updates on our Eric!
Know that it took you some TIME to write the story, but I can also tell you that it would have been MUCH harder for daisy after being gone during the middle of the week and not getting the information until she got home yesterday if you HADN'T done such a great job writing it and having the pictures ready to go, too! Thanks!

I think he was hoping to get one of those 'best of....' awards, but ended up 3rd in his platoon in the PT evaluation, and was kind of disappointed. (We sure weren't!)
The kid always wants to be the best!

About 5 minutes before kickoff, two F16's came in low from the south, flew over the goalpost and continued upfield over the north goalpost. What a sight. As the crowd applauded and cheered, I got a little teary seeing the patriotism being displayed by so many.Amy, I also get so emotional at these kinds of things. Would have been hard to hold back tears, seeing that. (Let's see if I can use one of Meekie's emoticons

I knew Shaggy would be by to wish Eric the very best. And I bet she, Shaggy, can keep JustFrank in line while Billie is at lunch and errands....If Eric made it through Boot Camp without saying one cuss word once, then Frank can make it though this thread behaving himself,....lol....(Hang in there, Just Frank, the weekend is coming and the rules are relaxed, just a tad, but relaxed...lol.)

Wonderful account of Eric's graduation from boot camp.
I wasn't able to attend my son's graduation from Navy boot camp last year and had to wait a couple of extra days until he came home on leave before I could see him.
Eric is indeed blessed to have both parents and proud siblings in his life, and America is blessed to have young men like Eric ready and willing to serve her.
