Great picture. My son and I have joked that if and when we take his kids fishing. One of us will have to have a net to get them out of the water, and the other will have to have safety lines on them, in particuliar Bubba Bam Bam.

Our grand daughter most of the time has some good common sense. Bubba Bam Bam on a recent trip back to the Jersey Coast would run into the ocean until the waves threw him back on the beach. He would get up and repeat the process. She would wait until someone was there to hold her hand.

Thanks for your very kind words. I think that we have two future fly fishers with our grandkids.

They both love to be outside. Since they could toddle, whenever they had to come inside, they would lay by the door and cry to go back outside. (even if they had been outside for hours).

After a week or so of ODing on fish and seafood and chicken, we throw a chunk of beef on the old Weber. Then we enjoy it. Even when we visit the Oregon coast and eat more seafood than an Orca does, we know where the good hamburger places are or the good steak places.
