Even that won't be good enough for me - I'm waiting for an announcement from the FBI that the picture isn't faked.

Somebody mentioned having the negative as proof of authenticity, but even that doesn't do it. I could take a still of OBL from one of his videos, use Photoshop to put today's paper in his hands or near him, then print it out on a photo-quality printer and take a picture of it.

With the state of technology today, I will never again regard an apparent photograph as conclusive proof of ANYTHING.

If Bin Laden were known to be dead, Bush and his cohorts would be shouting it from the rooftops and would, of course, be taking credit for it...no matter who or what was actually responsible for it.

Why would Bush want to that, this way he gets what he wants from the congress

To show he was beating the U.S. and gain greater support as a local hero.
