This guy should be chained to a desk in the West Wing and be forced to write all of Bush's public statements (I suppose it would be sporting to ask him if he'd do it voluntarily first).

Mark Steyn is, by far, the ablest defender of Bush's policy anywhere in the media. In fact, he does a better job explaining what Bush is up to than Bush does. And where he differs from Bush (the necessity of profiling and the whole airport security mess in general), I'm hoping Bush and Rove will come around to his point of view before 2004.

IMHO Bush needs all the support he can get. He's on the right track, it's the ONLY track that will end in survival, and he's getting beat over the head at every turn.

What Bush has to do is hard enough without all the whinning and braying that's been going on.

Dr. Kissenger is not opposed to invading Iraq.

The Bolshevik York Times misled people on this as they are doing about most everything else.

The reality: Even after the most dishonest media campaign by the New York Times, even after the endless "Foreign Policy Experts" and "Military Experts" thrown up on the cable channels to tell us Iraq is not a threat, the American public is not buying it. Our citizens may be dumb, but they sense that we are in danger and must attack Iraq before it is too late.

Clinton used to periodically sneak out of the White House hidden on the back seat floor of his limosine so he could secretly dally with girls at the local Hyatt.

I think Bush sneaks out of the White House hidden on the back seat floor of his limosine so he can secretly write Steyn columns!

I love Mark Steyn.
He talks Irish common sense, even though he's a Canuck *S* (At least I think he's a Canuck..he's the reason I read the National Post *L*)
