I've been following this race a bit. Is it true that the NRA endorsed Fischer over Wayne Gilchrest? That's something to think about, I bet.

The NRA did endorse Fisher over incumbent Gilchrest (who got an F from the NRA). Fischer has been endorsed by over half a dozen gun groups as well as the eagle forum, american conservative union and others.

Also Gilchrest is violating his term limits pledge by running this year.

I think this is a race that the freepers should get behind.

The only good RINO in my book is an ex-RINO!

We need fewer squishes in Congress like this Gilchrest guy. The GOP needs desperately solid, conservative candidates much like this Dave Fischer.

I'll have to search some newspapers for articles about him.

One can dream, but I'd rather a RINO sit in district 8 instead of a Dem. Once that seat goes blue, its not gonna turn red again in my lifetime.
