You could say that this is a coalition or a potential merger. Anti-porn fanaticism has brought the Andrea Dworkin/Cynthia MacKinnonites together with the Donald Wildmons in the past and can in the future.

If you look at the results of the last election, many of the big Republican losses were a result of their abandonment of freedom for big government conservatism. The Religious/Big Government types lost, especially in the South, when they opposed legalized gambling and nationally, when they opposed medical marijuana initiatives. People saw those issues as proof that the Big Gov GOP was just starting to invade our personal liberties and voted for the more socially tolerant DemocRATs and hope they can still defeat tax increases.

The GOP would win, if they went for freedom, the fact that they don't, shows how power-mad the GOP'ers really are.
