Subconsciously, they think it will somehow get them laid or praised by mommy or something like that.

That reminds me of a joke I heard - "A male feminist is a person who will bring a condom to a take-back-the-night rally.

Sungirl is FR's biggest anti-hunting advocate. Nice irony isn't it?

Maybe contradiction is a better word. I think she's just plain miserable being a woman.

Sounds like a femi-nazi to me.

Come now...I made a specific proposal; if you want to counter the specific elements of it, please do.

But to list out several centralized government socialist things I never said, and then object to those, is blowing down your own scarecrow!

And you are brighter than that. I know, I've seen your website.

Sorry about the ranting, but the idea of government forcing parents to pay more than the government would otherwise be obligated to provide is not based on any compelling public interest. If we simply held the government within the framework of the act they use for authority, there would not be these outrageous awards or impoverished fathers. There would also be considerably less incentive for divorce.

I'm all in favor of downsizing judicial "authority", as such is currently misclaimed...

Woo, it's some world we live in when an intercourse partner could decide whether or not that the child he helped to create, regardless if that was his intention or not, could simple walk away and call it a day. Woman had to fight for years to finally have the right to have a say in what and how their bodies are used. However, most woman, even with the law on our side, would rather have a child then to abort. What most men and pro lifer's don't consider is that most woman would not consider abortion as an option only as a last resort. Abortion has only been an option available to woman who truly believe that abortion is the right decision to make. It's not an easy decision to come to. The most common misconception is that we woman run to have an abortion simply because our pregnancy is inconvenient. Well, that is hogwash and crap spewed by pro lifer's. Nobody gives a damn after a child is born. I have seen on the news as most of you how an unwanted child is tossed in garbage cans, in rivers, stuffed in bags and died because the woman carrying the child didn't exercise her right or struggled with that decision because of influences in her life. Once the child is born and then killed in that kind of horrific way he/she has now suffered an unimaginable death. So all you men out there stop expecting woman to run to the abortion table because now it's inconvenient for you. We have had to live with the struggles of life or abortion for years and even with a good sound decision we suffer our whole life time but can be comforted in the realization that at the time that was the best decision we could have made. We pay for our decision to have intercourse with or without protection. Even the best protection is not 100% and it is up to both parties to be responsible since it is a 50/50 production. I do agree that before an abortion is decided on that there should be discussion between the partners. Call me skeptical but I would believe that most men would prefer it if a woman has an abortion. Abortion is convenient to men not a convenience for woman. Men do not have to suffer with the decision all their lives, men do not have to lay on top of a cold table and have a piece of you taken out, and men don't have to struggle with the memory of your action all your life, we do. So for any man to even try to compare his rights to ours is a whinny tiny person. Woman have struggle for every right that men have taken for granted always. If you don't want children and want to enjoy causal sex then have a vasectomy.
