I apprecciate your letting us know about the breaking news in real time. This is one of the things I love about the forum.

In this case the news developed as news does and the emergency was explained.

The mis-read on your post and the resulting exchanges were a riot! This sort of thing happens frequently and is usually ironed out with both participants retiring to their respective corners to repair the bruises and bleeders.

WGST reported a few minutes ago it was an error. Should have been an apb in middle ga for a missing fla child, some one coded wrong.

Just a guess likely a mismatch of Ten Codes between states. Sounds like a state or local police dispatcher broadcasted it out before verification and the tv station heard it.
