Clarity was not banned, he asked to be removed. CAL was banned, after resigning from anything to do with FR and then telling everyone she was leaving, she didn't. She hung around to utilize FReepmail to hurt Jim and others.

I have no knowlege about any personal problems, nor do I care.
However, when things that I post get deleted, without an explanation, then I do get worried. Pictures from 1998 get deleted?
How much has been going on that Freepers do not know about? Is this why Rush, Drudge and Hannity laugh at Free Republic today?

Well, at least you saw the two pictures before they were deleted?

People laugh at FreeRepublic because so many of the people who post here are unhinged. Thankfully some of the most bizarre seem to have found a new home. I do miss a couple of them, I will admit, esp. those who were witty and intelligent in addition to being crazy, but all in all I think FR has become a little more serious and a lot more relevant in the past 6 months.

Why are the archives so important to me?
I use the Free Republic archives to document the past history of our Politicians. The media does not want use to have that ability, but thanks to Free Republic, I can review what they said years ago.
That ability makes Free Republic worth it's weight in gold!
Unfortunatly, when the archives are edited, how much trust can I place in them today?
For some research, I have saved the information on CD, and know that the information is correct as of the date it was recorded.
Free Republic archives today - I can no longer trust them.

...I have yet to see a conversation or situation where you actually have anything to add.... You don't have time in grade to lecture anyone, you sanctimonious twit. If you take yourself as seriously as your nagging implies then you need to knock that chip off your shoulder.
Give us a look at your contributions to reasonable dialogue with the anti-freepers. I can't imagine anyone would trust you with any confidence given your record of deception.
LibertyPothole may be just your ticket. You want to advertise its virtues, pay for an ad in Rolling Stone.

I have no desire to find another website. For 4 years now, Free Republic is my home.
Actually, I dared to ask questions tonight and expect to be banned any minute now.
But hopefully, I did ask serious questions and did not offend anyone. That was never my desire.
I am a Freeper, and asking questions is what we do!

Why don't you ask them? Anything I tell you might be hearsay.

Free Republic archives today - I can no longer trust them. I am positive you and francis can organize a boycott and attract enough anal retentives to join you.
To: Bob J
Anything I tell you might be hearsay. Most likely my dear friend. So far, nobody has been able to show me a single documented fact.
As always, I will keep an open mind. But if you post something, you darn well better be able to back it up.

Funny, that's not the way they tell it. More like "forced out?"
I'm not going to quibble over the issue here. They're gone, that's all that matters to me. It's downright shameful the way it happened, the way it was handled, and the loss to the forum is noticeable to this day.
I considered them friends (especially Connie) whom I grew to know and respect. There used to be alot of people here on FR that I could say that about. Key words: used to be. That's a very short list these days.
To: Hunble
But hopefully, I did ask serious questions...No...you're gossiping.
All very fun...but hardly serious.
To: Hunble
BTW - "left voluntarily" is a subjective term. Is reregistering under a new screen name a voluntary departure? For the previous screen name, possibly. But does the essense really move on?
If a FReeper opuses in the forest, does anyone hear it?

The more you post the more I am convinced you have maintained this sleeper identity for some time. I could try to backtrack your posts but I don't really care.
Whiners annoy the hell out of me.
