Maybe you are referring to the action to round up all illegal immigrants and deport them. 8 million illegals, 2000 INS field agents. Do the math.
To: CometBaby
You are so right. It's their fault that they got killed. We should all recognize the fact that the terriorists don't like us so we should just hide in our basements.

Dubya doesn't want to be disturbed with US citizen deaths. He's got millions of illegals to get amnestied! (sarcasm off) If he does this then he will be a one termer just like his dad.

To: EternalLife
245i is not in force it has expired. Bush wanted a 3 month extension. You may want to do a bit of reading yourself.

Bush: No Amnesty for Immigrants
Aug 23, 2001 Author: SANDRA SOBIERAJ, Associated Press Writer
CRAWFORD, Texas (AP) - President Bush on Thursday promised illegal immigrants a worker program of some type to legalize their labor here, but he ruled out any blanket amnesty.
"There's going to be no amnesty," the president said as he took time from his vacation to visit an elementary school near his ranch.
As for amnesty, Bush was unequivocal:
"There will be no blanket amnesty for illegals. I've said that point blank. I will say it as many times as I need to say it."

8 million illegals, 2000 INS field agents. Do the math...and 1 Proposition #187, but 1 will be enough should a conservative Republican govenor replace Gray Davis or a more conservative Republican president replace Bush.

Sorry, but I already documented sources with quotes from Bush that clearly support what I said above.

What is the point of trying to change the thread topic?

That's 4000 per agent. So hire more agents. The new jobs in July were way down. Bush could have made the numbers look better if he had just hired more agents to close the border and ship the illegals back home.

You're the only one who's posted who knows what he's talking about. You're outnumbered. Thanks. Of course being outnumbered by those who can't back up their claims with facts is always lots of fun.

I liked my source better, because when dealing with rats you always send em their own liberal left wing source right back in their faces. Not saying these bush bashers are liberals but hey you never know! I remember a time here when they post as they do on this thread they were called liberal rat disrupters!

. (I asume those featured were the Americans)...who have such a dubious claim to US citizenship... If they immigrated to Israel, then they damned well ought to be Israelis. You assume incorrectly, only the first 5 where the American citizens. Three of the Americnas weren't immigrants or dual citizens, and AFAIK were native born Americans. Only one was dual citizen of Israel, Dina Carter. As I recall the one with dual French citizenship was born in France of American parents. The procedure in such cases is to register the birth with the US embassy, but often the country in question still considers the child to be one of theirs too. It's slightly different if one of the parents is US military stationed in the host country.
Other than Carter, they were just students, studying abroad. But then they were just Jews, so I guess that's enough to claim their citizenship was "dubious".
