I met you only once but you were ethical and honest. Sure, I'll vote for ya.

The deed is done, Israel exists, its just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Bull! It's right where it is supposed to be. And it's going to stay there, too.

That's two votes (you and my mom). I'm on a roll.

I would have chosen a promised land that wasn't surrounded by millions of people who wanted to kill me. Say, Colorado.

And it's going to stay there, too.

It certainly will. A monument to Social Engineering. The Global Community waves its magic wand and POOF you have a country. Borders should be geographic, cultural and economic.

The barrel of a gun works just fine as well but it makes for a miserable existence. Unless, of course, you follow the Roman's example at Carthage.

I had heard something similar to this a while back. But I wonder, is the problem the politicians, or, is the problem really us, i.e., the voters?

The way I see it, blaming a politician for being a politician is like blaming a dog for being a dog. So the actions of politicians (whatever name they may go by) is not surprising.

This nation, once its voters realized that it was possible to vote themselves more dollars into their own pockets, has slidden seriously towards the Left.

It doesn't appear to be stopping anytime soon, either.

Therefore, in order for a man or woman who are in the same vein as a Patrick Henry, George Washington, James Madison, or Thomas Jefferson to even be desired, we as a nation must go back to our first love and do again the first works. This means that both the Constitution and the American Idea must be taught and hammered home to each and every one of our youth before we will get anything remotely similar to a purely Constitutional government again. The WWII and Baby-Boomer generations should be written off in this effort. It's too late for them. They are getting or will soon get social security and enroll in more government programs like this. So, again, it's too late for them.

Sadly, even if we were to begin tomorrow, none of us alive today will see this fulfilled. This will take a truly multi-generational effort. But we can at least get the ball rolling in the process by demarxitizing this nation brick by brick.

It doesn't matter on whit what you would have chosen. Neither you nor I had any say in this process.

Where's Jerusalem? Where has it always been? What about Bethlehem? Gallilee? And you say Israel is in the wrong place?

What a flippin' joke. Social engineering? Save your buzzwords for the incoming frosh. This had nothing to do with social engineering. Jerusalem is to Israel what Mount Vernon and Monticello are to Virginia. You can't just move Virginia next to California (while leaving Mount Vernon and Moniticello behind) and still say that it's Virginia.

So take this lame argument elsewhere. It ain't working.

Israel is right where it's supposed to be.

True. Still it makes me wonder what will become of the other Frankensteins the United Nations has created.

The Romans didn't march into Virginia.

Its more of a lament than an argument. You're the one who seemed to take offense.

Israel is right where it's supposed to be.

After a couple mega-souls get vaporized, it will be right where it's supposed to be.

Save yourself the trouble. Don't wonder.

Seemed? That's such a Lefty term. Anyhoo, I was indeed perturbed by your asinine statement about Israel being in the wrong place.

Talk about absurd. Therefore, I called this exactly what it was: asinine.

After a couple mega-souls get vaporized, it will be right where it's supposed to be.

Which I'm sure you wouldn't mind one bit.

Its what I do.

At this point, I'm not right or left but orthogonal.

Talk about absurd. Therefore, I called this exactly what it was: asinine.

It's an expression. It means bad things are going to happen to you even if you don't deserve them.

After a couple mega-souls get vaporized, it will be right where it's supposed to be.

Which I'm sure you wouldn't mind one bit.

Character attacks. Such a Leftist tactic.

I dislike the vaporization of mega-souls. Many of them are innocent but its like the man says:

"Stupidity cannot be cured with money, or through education, or by legislation. Stupidity isn't a sin, the victim can't help being stupid. But stupidity is the only universal capital crime; the sentence is death, there is no appeal, and execution is carried out automatically and without pity." - Robert A. Heinlein

They why'd you mention it? And since you mentioned it, how is it character assassination? No one forced you to say that, yet you did.

And since you know what stupidity is, why don't you take your own advice? Physician, heal thyself. Indifference indeed has no pharmacy.

They why'd you mention it?

Because I was stating the criteria for a stable, secure, Israel.

And since you mentioned it, how is it character assassination? No one forced you to say that, yet you did.

The character attack began when you speculated on my reaction to mass killing.

And since you know what stupidity is, why don't you take your own advice? Physician, heal thyself. Indifference indeed has no pharmacy.

Everyone is stupid. Its just a question of the intensity of the stupidity.

Very good! You caught, in very few words, the difference between the men of revolutionary times and today. I think you get the best of the day.

I didn't mention mass killing. YOU did. So save the drama.

Everyone is stupid. Its just a question of the intensity of the stupidity.

Certainly. LC100 stupidity is not a good thing. Therefore, I reside at home, which is three standard deviations to the right of the mean. I run into far less stupid people that way.

Yes, it is the rather obvious requirement for a secure Israel.

There is nothing immoral or indifferent about stating this.

I've reached similar conclusions. My neighbors are trees. My trees neighbors are rocks.
