I would like to see something tangible that Hussein is going to attack us. Read Saddam's Bombmaker, by Khidir Hamza. Hamza ran Saddam's nuclear program for several years until he defected in 1996.
Saddam gassed innocent Iraqi civilians just to test his chemical weapons before using them in combat. If nobody stops him, he will, most certainly, have a nuke before 2005. And if he is capable of using one against a US or allied target, he will do so. The man is totally ruthless, and, if he thinks he's going down, he will try to take as many of his enemies (that's you and me, bub) with him as he can.
Read the book if you don't believe me.

"I'd be afraid because I'd have found that Americans generally love Daisy-Cutters (BLU-82)... "
I dream of unlimited Daisy-Cutter targeting authority! I am weary of precision guided munitions and very much in the mood for overwhelming, yet environmentally safe,(historically speaking) brute force.
I would much rather throw Daiseys at my enemy than nukes.Do not get me wrong, I am entirely comfortable employing nukes, but I really, truly, love the Daisy!
...and visions of triangles dance in her head...

I think yiu're full of bill, Bull.

How about the possibility our Special Forces along with the Iraqi govt in exile coordinating people getting them out of Bagdad in preparation for attack. Complete speculation, but can't help believing special forces already in Iraq setting the stage.

They remember how Saddam used them as human shields in '91. I'd move out of town, too, if I knew that Saddam was going to install an anti-aircraft battery on the roof of my apartment building! :-)

You never heard of the Drove? Its a car manufactured in Iran. It has a five cylinder 2 stroke engine. Due to the steel shortage the body is polypropylene. They have a trailer hitch on the front, because its usually towed by a camel. The engine may be attempted to be started should the camel break down.

1.I beleive the war budget is more than the health care and education budget combined. Not Hillary's healthcare proposal, nothing is bigger than that.
But, even if the war budget is the biggest item in the budget, so what?
To: jumpstartme
wow there are some strange pics on there. Thanks for the link.

I think we should give the people in Bagdad a 48 hour notice to get out of Bagdad!! Then drop in and do a search, block the town and let them in one by one.

Good point!
Sounds like Baqouba, Mahmoudiay, Hilla, Karbala and Najaf would be good places to look for caches of illegal weapons, surrounded by "terrified" refugees.
