You see, I think it's pretty darn interesting that the raid occurred in a home now maintained by the ex-wife of the mayor's son, Allen Sr. We're talking about a terror suspect here. Not a burglar.

What made the connection even more unusual was that the mayor's granddaughter, cousin to James Ujaama, was in the house.

pretty interesting piece you've dug up here, fizzie!

iirc, a while back a couple threads were active on strange death of mcveigh trial judge match's daughter.

again iirc, mayor webb was implicated in an influence buying scheme that also touched on judge match.

I believe some major denver area developer was involved along with a member of the current administration.

too bad these threads are now embargoed in the archives.

p.s. it would be very interesting to determine how mayor webb's grand daughter and ujamma became cousins?

p.p.s. rdavis: does this mean they can get married someday?

Al-Masri is a one-eyed mullah who is often seen preaching at the Finsbury Park Mosque in North London and is wanted in Yemen on terrorism charges.

Do you have to be "one-eyed" to become a mullah?

"If they do poison our water, bottle it immediately and send it to the Middle East as "A Gift from the USA""

Or you can do what I am doing right now. I keep a piece of pig fat that I rub on every single $1,$5,$10,$20 bill in my wallet. Everytime one of these sub-human types handles a bill I once had they touch pork and can no longer get into their twisted version of heaven. It is something you can do in your own home without the need of "homeland security" (aka KGB) to implement.

I am still waiting for the "good Muslems" or the "good people of Islam" or the "good rag heads" to scream at the top of their lungs than their religion has been stolen by a few idiots.

No, you need a science class. Take a coal-fired power plant. Coal contains radioisotopes that are injected into the atmosphere. WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE (true) OF CANCER (false).

You get zapped by many sources, like granite, radon (especially if you have a well - don't take long showers!), the sun, cosmic rays (much more so if you are a frequent flyer), your smoke detectors, etc.

Your body is adapted to some levels and types of radiation. Unless you exceed the human body's natural defenses against ionizing radiation, your chances of getting cancer do not go up.

" These "people" have already shown a willingness to die for their "cause". The only thing they are afraid of is not dying as a martyr."- SBeck

"Folks who plan to ultimately blow themselves up in an act of mass murder of infidels don't get "scared"." -Travis McGee

Not according to the handlers of the Moussaoui and some others in Cuba who are singing to avoid death and detention. Some of the 19 of 9/11 apparently didn’t know it was a suicide mission. The "best" of al-Qaeda are in a New York rubble pit.

Most of the rest are people like the shoe bomber and the moron who toured Pakistani training camps and thought he could return to scout dirty bomb targets in anonymity. These fools are the walking dead, short on refuge, respect and resources. All it takes is resolve to eliminate them.

They're scared. That's why they destroy.

Ever read, "The dose makes the poison?" It mentions that water itself is a poison in enough concentration...over hydrating youself can kill you, not to mention breathing that stuff!!

On the other hand, I disagree with this assertion:

if a microscopic piece of radioactive material gets into your body, you WILL get cancer -- may not happen for 10 or 20 years, but it will happen.

This is wrong, incorrect, unproven, and unsupportable!!!! Charcoal has minute amounts of radioactive isotopes in it, and you can lick it like a lollipop and you won't get cancer.

Radium or tritium coated watch dials are indeed radioactive and glowing like on the Simpsons...but you won't get cancer from eating a watch.

There's Americium radiating lotsa alpha particles in your smoke detector. It won't give you cancer.

Even standing in your clean house, you are bombarded by dangerous gamma rays, which cause cancer fer sure, but you may not get cancer in your lifetime.

Actually, some older radium dials are hot enough to cause skin abnormalities. And you don't want to know what happened to the people who painted the watch dials, tipping the brushes with their tongues. Radiation should be respected, not feared.

These guys are prominent Moslem radicals, the FBI has been nosing around them for months and they still keep incriminating documents in the house?

They can't be trusting those vital instructions to memory you know.

1. Open can of poison.
2. Pour poison in water.
3. Run like a raped goat.

The fact is that this will make 21 administrative departments and 98 congressional committees obsolete.

And not one of them will be de-funded or de-staffed.

OK, I'm chasing ghosts at this point, but doesn't Cornell (In Ithaca, The City of Evil) have a residence hall named Ujaama?
The first case involves James Ujaama, who surrendered to the FBI last week in Denver. Sources say they found documents about water poisoning among several other terrorism-related documents in his Denver residence.

Sources say the government has additional evidence that prior to Sept. 11 James Ujaama acted as a courier delivering laptop computers to the Taliban.

James Ujaama's brother is Mustafa Ujaama, the founder of the now-closed Dar-us-Salaam Mosque in Seattle. The FBI has been investigating activities and officials from the former mosque for several months.

Forget it, here it is:

Ujamaa Residential College

Founded at Cornell in 1972, Ujamaa (pronounced "oo'-ja-mah") takes its name from a Tanzanian Ki-Swahili word that evokes cooperative eco-nomics and family. Ujamaa residents hail not only from places as diverse as Atlanta, Haiti, New York City, Nigeria, Los Angeles, the Dominican Republic, and Taiwan, but also represent all seven of Cornell's under-graduate colleges and schools.

The HSA plans were all drafted during the Clinton/Gore reign. As the Islamic threat diminishes (what with the War on Terror being such a success and all), the HSA will take up its originally intended mission to maintain its levels of staffing and funding: the suppression of anti-government activities on the Left and Right, gun ownership, militia movements, "hate speech" and "hate crimes," etc.

Er... can we be a little careful about this? These guys are prominent Moslem radicals, the FBI has been nosing around them for months and they still keep incriminating documents in the house? The Department of Justice has a recent history of making vague, alarming claims that later turn out to be piffle. Maybe it's real this time, but maybe not.

There's nothing you posted which diminishes the justification for clamping down on these people who want to kill Americans in the name of their cult. I say, shut every mosque down if it would save a single American life. That should put a message across.

The brothers were born James Ernest Thompson and Jon Thompson and grew up in Seattle. Some community leaders there have credited them with helping to rid their poor, black neighborhood of drugs and prostitution by recruiting former gang members and others into the Dar-us-Salaam mosque.

The key point to this story is that two U.S. born African-American citizens appear to be plotting with Al Qaeda to poison a U.S. water supply. Many are concerned about enemies of Middle Eastern ethnicity, it appears the profile of the potential enemy needs to be expanded when you compare this story to the story of Menepta in Oklahoma City.

The rest of the linked story:

James Ujaama was arrested Monday at his grandmother's home. Mustafa Ujaama said he did not know what was on the disks that were taken from the home. One of the computers belonged to Mustafa Ujaama and the other was his son's, he said.

FBI spokesman John Lipka confirmed that agents went to the grandmother's house but would not say why. "We are in furtherance of an active investigation," he said.

Holding a person as a material witness — someone believed to have important information — allows federal authorities to keep him in custody indefinitely.

Federal authorities speaking on condition of anonymity have said authorities believe James Ujaama took computer equipment to an Al Qaeda terrorist camp in Afghanistan. They said authorities also were investigating whether James Ujaama trained at the camp.

Earlier news reports said James Ujaama was taken to Virginia after his arrest, but his lawyer, Daniel J. Sears, said he was jailed in Denver. Justice officials have refused to confirm where he was being held.

Sears said James Ujaama had not been charged with any crime. He said a hearing has been scheduled to review the legality of the detention, but he could not say where or when. He said his client is outspoken and has publicly disagreed with the government on Middle East issues.

"I hope we have not advanced to the point in this country where we are jailing people because the government may disagree with their beliefs," Sears said.

Agents arrived at the home at about 5 p.m. and spent about two hours inside. Mustafa Ujaama said they had a warrant.

The brothers moved to Denver this month from Seattle. Mustafa Ujaama was detained briefly on Monday when his brother was arrested.

Their aunt, Robin Thompson, stood outside the home during the search.

"They could have done this in Seattle. We are Americans. I don't know why they're doing this," she said.

The brothers were born James Ernest Thompson and Jon Thompson and grew up in Seattle. Some community leaders there have credited them with helping to rid their poor, black neighborhood of drugs and prostitution by recruiting former gang members and others into the Dar-us-Salaam mosque.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
