This "we're all immigrants" malarkey is getting old. There's no reason for any American to put up with being forced out of any part of their own country by criminal invaders. The government is failing to enforce the law. That is intolerable. I believe that sort of malfeasance resulted in a revolution once, didn't it?

Hopefully I have isolated myself from this problem, but the future is very difficult to predict. I hope for your sake you have--but as you said, the future is difficult to predict.
In my lifetime, I have seen America's population double--and I have seen freedom halved.

Your comments are hilarious........ I live in southeastern Pennsylvania....... the County where I live is growing rapidly......if I don't like the new developments being planned I am free to move...... I have no problem with neighbors..even yankees.........
You know nothing about me, yet you want to label me because I contend you are a hypocrit regarding this issue....... I think YOU are the one who needs to learn to live with others....... YOU want big government to control the population so YOU can live alone........lol........ but go ahead and try to turn the facts around to me.........
To: Age of Reason
You forgot to call me a racist, too. No, Sir, I did not "forget" to call you anything....... should I have?

I don't expect it will be like Central Park , WE, the masses won't be dropping by for a hike. This just assures that the owners won't be disturbed by the next door neighbors putting in a development so the masses (thats us) can buy 1/4 acre on the golf course. This is purely self serving barbara stresiand. It looks good & PC in print.

"In my lifetime, I have seen America's population double--and I have seen freedom halved"
Those are very true words, I am only 44 and have seen the same thing.
The whole essence of the country has changed drastically in the last 20 years, and not for the better.
Buckle your seat belts, it could get bumpy.

believe you are obsessed with this one issue......Love of a spaciousness so congenial to liberty is a blessed obsession.
To: Age of Reason
No, your "love of spaciousness" translates to government control of free enterprise and population control........ you advocate Big Brother, I don't.........

You can't be a 'real' rancher on 1,500 acres. You can go thru the motions but you can't support yourself with it. These people have money & are 'playing' at ranching.

No, your "love of spaciousness" translates to government control of free enterprise So that's it: you find an abundance of cheap immigrant labor in the way of your business schemes.
To: Age of Reason
What are you drinking? You have somehow switched sides here and now advocate immigration? lol.....slow down honey, you aren't keeping up here........

You can't be a 'real' rancher on 1,500 acres. You can go thru the motions but you can't support yourself with it. But you don't understand--this is a move toward "Ranch Museums" to assuage the conscience of city folk with the belief that such places preserve America's heritage.
In a few more years, they will turn the design of the place over to Walt Disney in the hopes of making it a more authentic Old West experience for visitors.
The cattle will never be shipped for slaughter and never be branded for real (illegal immigrants dressed as cowboys, will instead demonstrate branding by using room-temperature branding irons with self-inking rubber stamps at the end).
Afterward the approving audience will buy soy hotdogs at the saloon next to cowboys wearing cap pistols.
