Glad you like the Teacup profile. She has not seen it yet. She had to leave very early this a.m. but hopes to get on line tonight. I do hope she likes it...she was so looking forward to it and helped Billie and I with it - with info and stuff but there are a couple of surprises and I think she will be pleased.

The graphics fairy visited me today. I feel so special. I actually asked for one and then later I woke up from my afternoon siesta, looked at my Freepermail and there were some more, totally unsolicited. I love and appreciate all of them so very much.

Billie's pretty good about throwing up some of her better shots. She may have lots of flood damage reports for us. Centex has been hammered recently. Federal Disaster Relief, and all that good stuff.

Not only was it a picture of an elephant you got from Skinny, but it looked like a very unflattering part of the elephant to boot.

I think you will improve your chances of getting visited by the gif fairy if you ever get your pastry hat on again and bake some pineapple two crust pies....lol...

Thanks for the kudos. I will pass them on to Billie - who is the brainchild and leader of this thread and does 3 profiles a week- and Mama_Bear, who, like me, chips in with one profile a week. Usually we are all three here at various times of the day but today Billie is off on a long weekend and Mama_Bear has computer troubles. And Teacup got called away unexpectedly but will be here either later tonight or tomorrow.

Do you know whether the problem is with her computer or the dsl server?

I have the same dsl and the last time she had it, Diver Dave and I got it the next day.

Good evening all. What a lovely tribute! I am so sorry to just now being able to respond. Mr. Teacup and I and the grandkids had to make an emergency type trip to North Carolina today. Nothing serious, just some family business that need to be attended to.

We left at 5AM and I just walked in the door.

On behalf of myself and my family. I want to thank Billie and daisyscarlett for putting this "Spot light" together. Good job, and thank you so much.

Just be grateful that Skinny does not know how much you like pigs and that you collect ceramic pigs. He could really wreck some havoc with that knowledge, lol...

Thank you so much for all your kind words and thoughts. I have been so fortunate to have met all of you here on Free republic. I have also had the pleasure of meeting many of you personally.

I have been so blessed to have my Freeper friends standing by me in good times and in bad.

Many of us stood side by slide at the Sore Loserman rallies, angry and upset.Do you remember how cold it was? Burrr! And then again at the Freeper ball, where we danced the night away to the tunes of Gov. Huckabee's band and welcome in our new President.

On a personal note. Many of you know about my grandson being taken by his father. For 2 weeks we did not know where they were. So many of you stood with me and my daughter MiniTeacup and held our hand and prayed for us. We are currently awaiting the divorce proceeding and praying for primary custody of the baby. Thank the Lord the baby is OK (not great, just OK) and is with his mother as often as possible.

I want to thank Jim Robinson for this wonderful forum, and giving me the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful family. I love ya all, and thank you for being my friend.
