Oklahoma motel recieves Al-Q's highest 5 star rating:
"I asked him what they were doing here in the area. And Atta,/b> told me they were going to flight school. I thought he meant [Federal Aviation Administration] training in Oklahoma City. But Atta told me no, they were taking flight training in Norman.
"I said I didn't understand why they wanted to rent one of my rooms, since we were about 28 miles from Norman and there are a lot of reasonably priced motels a lot closer. But he said they had heard good things about my place and wanted to stay there.
so who recommended the place in the 1st place? tim mcveigh or HAH?
btw, what was the name of the place?

It certainly is interesting that this type of article keeps cropping up, trying to establish a credible link between Jihad Islam and McViegh.
I'm not convinced, yet.
It is very suspicious that the Fed. Gov. was hell bent to put Mcveigh to death as quickly as is happened. And its very suspicious that John doe#2 looks like Padilla. These things are supsicion not evidence.

From article in reply #35:
Wednesday, a federal court denied bond to Menepta. Instead, they want to further investigate his possible ties to terrorists. He roomed with Moussaoui, who has been linked to the hijackers

Your tax dollars at work: Was al Qaeda at OK City?
Rep. Dan Burton, chair of the House Government Reform Committee, is an unabashed investigator of the feds, no matter how far-fetched the charges. But even his own team thinks he has gone off the deep end with his latest project: allegations that Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh is tied to Islamic terrorists. McVeigh, the story goes, met in an Oklahoma City motel with Iraqi agents before the 1995 explosion.
Part two: unsubstantiated reports that two 9/11 hijackers holed up with the suspected 20th attacker, Zacarias Moussaoui, in the same motel last July. Coincidence? Sources say Burton sent investigators to OK City to sniff around, tasked three staffers to the probe, and asked David Schippers, who led a House panel on Bill Clinton's impeachment, to advise.
But that's not all: Burton wants more staff. While there's lots of circumstantial evidence to investigate, like an allegation that the FBI stopped an agent from looking into the Iraqi angle, the feds say it's a waste of money. Ditto some in his committee. "Some attorneys here," says a staffer, "think it's wacko."

A reply by OKCSubmariner on another thread concerning a March,11 2002 Schippers interview:
"I have now listened to the audio of the Quinn radio program today with David Schippers.
Schippers does say that he has a witness who saw and heard friends of Al Hussaini from OKC talking in August of 2001 at a hotel to hijacker pilot Moahmmed Atta and Zacharias Moussaoui (trained at Norman OK flight school and at a flight school in Minnesota).
Schippers described John Doe #2 for the OKC bombing case as the Iraqi Al Hussaini. Schippers says that he now believes that Hussaini is a more more important terrorist operative than he originally realized. Schippers said Hussaini is a key money mover for terrorists and their operations."

Maybe, with enough open coverage, the truth will finally come out about OKC. I remember telling someone late in 1995 that I had read interesting investigative reports in The New American and a couple of other places that pointed to a Mid East connection to OKC, and I was laughed at. Easy for Bubba the Snowball to blame the "right-wing conspiracy" and the "militia". Maybe finally the lid will come off and the truth of a Mid East connection will be proven.
