Why don't they announce that they will personally refuse to be treated with any pharmaceutical or surgical procedure that was developed with animal testing?

Why do I ask stupid questions?

Kevin Kjonaas shed no tears when three masked animal-rights activists beat Brian Cass with ax handles outside Cass' home. Cass' company tests pharmaceuticals on laboratory animals.

Nor was he moved on another occasion when assailants sprayed a caustic liquid in the face of Cass' colleague as he stepped out of his car at home, then beat him as he writhed on the pavement in pain, his wife and daughter watching from inside their house.

He wouldn't be shedding any tears for me, either.

He'd be shedding blood.

.40 cal puts quite a hole in an assailant.

Yes, but this is the People's Republic of New Jersey, ordinary peasants aren't allowd to have *any* caliber of weapon. (unless apparently they're animal rights wackos)

"This was the beginning of a campaign that essentially says I am going to grab hold of your air hose and squeeze it until you die"

Let us adopt successful tactics when our enemies employ them.

Do you think for one hairy freaking minute that I would obey their evil laws? Maybe they might get me the first time -- MAYBE -- but the second time there would be three smoldering bodies. And if I gotta go to jail for protecting my life against people with axe handles, then so be it.

Remember, also: they did this at his house.

How about a 'Stop Environmental Activist & Terrorist" or SEAT website and list their names and addresses and those of their supporters.

I won't feel bad if someone were to take him out to a dark alley and bust his kneecaps.

This is NJ, that's highly likely if he's not too careful.

There, he served briefly as a spokesman for the Animal Liberation Front

Heh. Wonder if ALF still are as moronic as they used to be. Was a time they'd actually plaster records of past deeds and future plans on a board they used...

From the Daily Policy Digest:

Since September 11, attacks by a home-grown eco-terrorist group known as the Earth Liberation Front have grown more destructive and brazen, says the Wall Street Journal.

* ELF first surfaced when it blew up that source of all modern evil, an automobile, in Oregon's Willamette National Forest in 1996.

* The group and its parent, Animal Liberation Front, have since taken credit for scores of crimes, their favorite being arson; in 1998 they firebombed a Vail ski resort, destroying $12 million in property and endangering dozens of firefighters.

* The Portland Oregonian credits ELF with 33 major crimes in just five years and property losses of $26 million.

The group has continued its attacks in the weeks following Sept. 11.

* Just nine days after the World Trade Center fell, ALF members torched a New Mexico primate lab.

* On Oct. 15 they firebombed a federal corral for wild horses near Litchfield, Calif.

* In November, two homemade bombs were discovered near a Michigan Tech University lab that conducts research for the forestry industry -- ELF is a prime suspect.

On their Web site are how-to primers on "The politics and practicalities of arson" and "What to do if a federal agent tries to question you." Or check out: "Setting Fires With Electrical Timers -- An Earth Liberation Front Guide."

No humans have yet been killed in an ELF or ALF attack, though law enforcement agencies say it's only a matter of time.

Mrs. Jagdgewehr would not be as passive. My attackers would find themselves in the midst of a hail of 9mm rounds from her Sig.

I would be on the ground, not in pain, but in self preservation. She can be pretty excitable despite her calm Norwegian temperment.

"No physical attacks have occurred in the United States, where the violence has been limited to property damage."

Hummmmm, I wonder why that is? Now why would a thug like this be more afraid to attack a man at his home in the U.S.A. than he would be in England?

Kjonaas occasionally goes by the name Kevin Jonas. He says he uses the alias to spare family members outside Minneapolis from harassing phone calls from people who oppose the tactics and aims of his group.

Well, I dunno, but if it were my place that got painted and my car that got torched I'm thinking Mr. Kjonaas and family might just be getting a little reciprocal visit. The KGB found that very effective against terrorists not so very long ago.

Spoiled little white-bread suburbanite bastards. Running around playing terrorist, and someday it's going to get them killed. And I won't shed a tear.

F***ing coward. "Kjonaas" is not exactly a common last name - there's only twenty Kjonaases in the White Pages for the state of Minnesota, for example...

Where is that two-faced dimwit Ashcroft? Go forbid if this was a group trying to save the lives of HUMANS (Pro-Life) the Atty. General would go on a rampage and declare them a terrorist group, and "detain" each member.

If I saw someone beating the crap out of my hubby outside our home, that person or persons would be looking down the wrong end of my Mossberg.
