I didn't believe that Governor made it up. I do believe that the Feds DID give him some kind of warning...which they later claimed was a "not-credible" threat.

My Mom and I sometimes ride the Larkspur ferry to go into San Francisco. There are stories of Middle Eastern men trying to take video recordings of inside the ferry bridge. they act like they're casing out the boat. No one checks anyone's bags or anything. They could carry a bomb on board and no one would know. Terrorists could also hijack the ferry. They might ram it into the bridge or maybe Pier 39 with explosives onboard. there are lots of tourists who visit the GG Bridge and Pier 39.
