Thanks for the ping.
This is the real conundrum of the present debate. I'm certain the supreme court does not wish to address the issue of the death penalty for abortion, those who commit, and those who submit. The implications are huge and beyond where the supreme court ought to go IMHO.
I think Roe v Wade should be vacated simply on the issue that Roe has since recanted her testimony, and therefor the original decision was made based on evidence that has been proven a lie. Return the decision process back to the states from whence it came.
I agree, completely, but your math doesn't begin to address the magnitude and impact of the 'numbers' There are literally generations lost from this heinous activity. How about we express it in 911's or Pearl Harbors. It is mathematically possible to compute the number of folks the millions of aborted would have produced as couples, and the financial benefit to the world, however, dwelling in the past isn't going to fix the future. Amazingly, I have never heard the prodeath folks even argue about the number of abortions said to take place annually.
The USSC has incorrectly ruled that the "right to kill your baby" is CONSTITUTIONALLY GUARANTEED.. therefore an ammendment is the ONLY way to "remove it from their jurisdiction" IMHO
