There are 80 million gun owners in this country, if 1 in 10 fight that's an army of 8 million! It would take one hell of an invading army to take us over. An invading Army would find itself fighting house to house in a very costly war. Once that Army won it would have to continue to hold the ground, and it would continue to sustain heavy losses. No Army on earth has that kind of power. America has always been at it's best when the deck was stacked against us!

The elitists/globalists know this fact. That's why nothing like that will happen as long as America has a Constitution, and that Constitution has the Second Amendment!! Why do you think the Liberals and the U.N. are so eager to take it away?

"...the U.S. Constitution poses no serious threat to our form of government."

That deserves a bump.

We have control of the WH, we have control of the House, we have a narrow minority in the Senate. He has the added bonus of being a wartime President with the first actual attack on our soil in many years. That would seem like a very good fighting chance to get a real conservative agenda through.

Now when President Bush said he was a 'uniter not a divider' (or words to that effect), I didn't think he meant we would all unite under the Democrat agenda rather than some real negotiation to get some good works done.

I am not sure the Democrats are the boogey-man (or men) here.

"I'd probably be one of the few to actually bother showing up."

GOOD!! Let's pick a Saturday and start making arrangements, my FRiend!!

"That remark about the no-shows is based on my experience working for the GOP after the 1994 election. Most conservatives just could not be bothered with the messy details of actually moving the agenda forward or earning sweat equity--but they sure as hell wanted to set the agenda in 1996."

Why not give them an excuse to prove you wrong!?!

"Conservatism has far too many summer soldiers and sunshine patriots."

The Roster of Patriots I consider to be Conservative is full of honorable, tough, self-supporting folks...you may give the Sheeple far less credit than they deserve!!

There are enuff wet blankets in the World, mi amigo, please never allow yerself to become one of them!!

"WHAT conservative legislation?"

The House is chock-full of Bills that move the pendulem to the Right, and we can find cells of them that will propose even more RadicalRightWing legislation!! I bet we could even get my Senator, George Allen, Jr., to co-sign some of the legislation from the Senate.

Wouldn't it though?! I agree with you 110%!! We must get on the ball and start initiating the legislation you and I thought we were voting fer when we pulled the lever fer Dubyuh!! Ain't that Right, Dubyuh?!

"Now when President Bush said he was a 'uniter not a divider' (or words to that effect), I didn't think he meant we would all unite under the Democrat agenda rather than some real negotiation to get some good works done."

Let's give Dubyuh a chance this Fall!! No mercy fer Lib'ral legislation, but be prepared to get on the bandwagon when he and the House GOPers propose some good stuff. If enough of us spread the word, we can make a differenced for that 40+% who vote in off-year elections!! "I am not sure the DemocRATS are the boogey-man (or men) here."

I SOOOOOOOOO Much Disagree with You...MUD

If they couldn't be bothered to write a damn letter to their Congresscritter in 1995 during the budget showdown, they sure as (expletive deleted) won't show up for a march on Washington.

Conservatives are far too often the Monica brigade--they only give lip service to their goals.

You're right! That's the only way it will happen. If the people are duped into surrendering their sovereignty, then the New World Order will come to pass. That is the danger that we face as a Nation. Not invasion by a foreign force.
