What about downloading under-aged bug porn ? Is it animated?
To: Illbay
I guess, Illbay, we're just wondering how you came to your conclusions, based on what is now known. If the man was not able to kill her and dump her body at Dehesa because he was under constant surveillance, how can you logically conclude that he did it? And why not one of the van Dam horndogs, some of whom seem to be very strange? Are you saying DW did it just because, to you, he "looks like" someone who might do such a thing? Uh oh, middle aged, balding men--look out, Illbay thinks you're pervs!

We are still waiting for the "lady" to appear...

It would be one thing if they were trying to come up with evidence to indict. They are in a TRIAL, though, do you understand that?
Your opinions and mine don't make one bit of difference. If it is as you say, and the defense can convince the jury of that, then it is significant.
If not, it sounds like one more example of the "straining at gnats" that seems to be the primary hobby of many of the people on threads like this.

Is it not interesting that Dusek and the DA's office use Faulkner and his faulty bug science in other murder cases with success. Now all of a sudden it's unreliable. Hmmmm, can you say appeal?

Aarrgh..we've had downtime..I think the lightening hit our cable company..couldn't look in since LAST NIGHT!
"Well DAMON has been allowed back in court. If he acts in any way improper Mudd will ban him from the building. "
Well, just remember, if damon isn't the demon some of ya think he is as far as HIM not doing it...THAT'S GOOD that he can get in to the building.
To: Illbay
This is simply my opinion. I think the guy is a predator, and I think it more than likely he slaughtered that little girl. Thank YOU. It is nice when a poster states their position so clearly. At least we know where you are coming from.
What others have tried to say is that the media hype has turned out not to be true. The witness statements were misconstrued by police. Some witnesses downright lied.
All testimony has pretty much proven DW was the neighbor people knew and associated with. He was the one that had a normal social life, (camping, RV's, MH trips, etc).
The VD's were the ones with the aberrant sexual behavior and drugs social life.
SO, in my opinion DW does not look guilty at all. I don't think he had anything to do with killing Danielle.
I think you made up your mind a long time ago, and have closed it like a steel trap.
No amount of facts or reality will ever change your mind.
Well, you stick with that. You are welcome to it.

Gee, DA, powerful position, lot's of bribe money, organized crime money, hush hush money, etc.
You'd have to be one cynical SOB to conclude there are corrupt leftist politicians in office in California who sell political favors to the highest bidder and deal by graft. Welcome aboard.
Cue up the Love Boat Theme and welcome on board
The Cynical SOB Boat !

It's strange that the judge made that allowance for Damon. It seems odd that the judge believes that Damon represents less of a risk now, during the defense phase. I'm sure that the defense will bring up some ideas that will really light Damon's fire.....
Anyway, it's all a show, Damon and Wife love to spread Hate- Mongering propaganda and their daily anger-responses are not demonstrations of grief, but fear...

Yes, my little pretty you did well.
RE: #5. Here's an explanation from Jam's site. I don't normally cross post with out permission, but this answer to that theory is classic and deserves to be seen by ALL.
9 . "animal activity...?????"

OKAY, im sorry... but exactly which animal drug the netting away, a squirrel... i suppose the dehesa squirrels all have lace looking curtains these days...
Seems like a carnivore would be persistant about the body... and a netting would be quickly discarded.
but of course there were those 100 mile an hour santa ana winds in feb, that blew the netting away. I must have missed that, but thankfully the mobile home that I own that is approximately 10 miles from the dehesa site, weathered the storm perfectly.
some things have to be BELIEVED, to be SEEN

Forensic entomology is the use of insect knowledge in the investigation of crimes or even civil disputes. It is one of the many tools of forensic science. As you browse through my files on this page, you will see that forensic entomology is not only a useful tool to decide how long human remains have been undetected, but forensic entomology can also be used to find out whether the corpse have been moved after death, the cause of death, and also solve cases of contraband trafficking.

Should have had this link before the testomony. Very interesting, but not for the faint at heart.

Yes, punditry = definitely iffy. And of course, Nancy Grace is a former prosecutor, so it stands to reason she would see most cases from that perspective.
I don't know from bugs, variances there seem iffy too. But I don't see how the jury can get around:
1. Danielle's blood found on Westerfield's clothes.
2. Westerfield fibers found on Danielle's body.

To: Jaded
Jaded--can you say "appeal" 250 times? It's my understanding that's how many times Faulkner has testified for the prosecution in that area. If it's now worthless, I'll bet a lot of attorneys are heading to court, papers in hand!
To: Jaded
If he acts in any way improper Mudd will ban him from the building. If he acts in any way improper, he should have his butt in jail for contempt. JMHO
