Another "war crime” is defined as "declaring that no quarter will be given.” So much for FDR’s "unconditional surrender” policy against the Nazis.

This is incorrect - unconditional surrender and quarter are entirely different matters. One gives "quarter" - that is, one doesn't kill the other fellow - as a result of surrender, unconditional or otherwise. FDR - and Churchill, and Grant - are safe enough.

What is actually happening to Clinton is a punishment far more appropriate than ICC prosecution: a slow revealing of just how greasy the man really is, and a Chinese-water-torture-paced slide into obscurity and irrelevance. That's gotta hurt.

The ICC can't prosecute anything that happened before July 1, 2002.

You kep saying that, but what is to prevent them from
doing just that?

Once they have the authority to bring people to trial
then they are pretty much able to do what they want. Who
will challange them? US? Sure we will.

This will be used against US citizens; and this is not allowed by our constitution.

Neither is the Federal Reserve.......good luck standing on that document.

It's all a moot point anyway, since we are never going to allow anyone to detain any of our servicemen or officials. I was just pointing it out that that's what's written into the treaty.

Can't thank President Bush enough for rejecting the World Court baloney.

If only this really meant anything. This will not stop these tyrants
they will keep chipping away. First will be trade weapons
then money flow, travel visas.....and so on.

This cancer on the world of free societies can only be
stopped with a total repudiation of this kangaro court.

The President should announce that we will defend any
person/country from the tyrany of this court.

Of course that still leaves that nasty situation with Slodobo.

", I would be willing to go to war with any country that attempted to indict a former President of the United States."

Time to carpet bomb Belgium with nukes? hehe

Milosevic is proving every day at the Hague Tribunal that he is not guilty of all and especially the trumped up charges brought by NATO.

NATO's Clinton should have the same opportunity. He should be indicted however we would not have to deliver him. It would be a feather in their cap, as it was for the Houses' impeachment of Clinton.

We can only hope! Personally, I'd be very surprised if it happened.
