There have been so many things Feldman has tried to get in through testimony, that SHOULD be heard, and the judge won't allow it!! I think that's disgustingly WRONG! A man's life is the stakes here.

Such things happen all the time in the criminal "justice" system...Judge basically tells the defendant "If you don't like the way I screwed you over at trial, take it up on appeal." Meanwhile, the defendant sits in prison, awaiting his appeal, and trying to figure out how to pay for it, since he can't work and the wife and kids are on welfare 'cause the source of household income is in prison. I've seen this sort of thing happen frequently.

That could be the real reason, but it might not be. No one of these people ever lie do they? No one ever misrepresents their motive do they?

I suppose it could happen, but it made sense to me when they said it, that it was to protect a minor child - just like they won't show them on camera. Don't want to get the pedophiles & potential kidnappers all hot & bothered, possibly.

Nope I noticed that too. It just adds to the growing appeals list, should it become necessary.

Feldman has had his forceful moments also.

But,at the moment, DUSEK is the one trying to put the idea 'forceful' out there to color the image of DW, so I am coloring the image of DUSEK with the idea 'forceful'.

Yep. I thought maybe while the 'Jolly Judge' was taking his vacation, we could check out how many times he shut the defense down. To be fair, we'll have to note the many motions made by the DA and the rulings on those.

Anyone want to help?

Today isn't the only day I've noticed it, just the first day I said something. I'm sure some of the jurors notice.
That is if they wern't in a Dusek induced coma!!

Actually, she said the front blinds would be closed *if* it were cold outside. He told detectives it was cold that particular da. Other campers, during their testimony said it was not cold.

I know. I'm a veteran trial watcher of over 10 years. It just seems to me, this is the WORST bias by a judge I've witnessed in ONE trial.

Dusek is trying to imply that David got rid of these blood-soaked boots. The black boots were originally brought up by Glennie Nasland last week when she described what he was wearing at Dad's. Susan said he DID NOT own black boots only dark brown. In a dimly lit bar would look black, anyhoo.

You think Denise was so interested in DW that she asked which house he lived in?

I was just recounting today's testimony. If you want to know what I think it meant, I think she didn't know his name, but since she ran into him on her way to the van Dams (he had returned to the neighborhood) that was how she described to the detective who she was talking about.

What is the import of the black boot testimony?

IMHO, nothing. More grasping at straws. Trying to promote evidence 'in the minds' of the jury, because they don't have the physical property itself.

When we DON"T KNOW FOR SURE, we usually IMAGINE THE WORST.

BTW, you got post 666.

Ooooh! Post 666! The black-boot testimony is based on Glennie Nasland's description of DAW's bar attire, black shirt, black jeans, black boots. Speculation by DA's office is that those were the Stealth Ninja Dave clothes he wore to sneak into the VD house and spirit away little Danielle without a trace. I think I've seen the black boots described on this thread as "probably blood soaked."

Police said there were no black boots to test (uh-oh!) But then live-in girlfriend Susan said DAW didn't have black boots. Brown boots, yes, but not black ones. Brown boots were available in DAW's closet for testing. No fibers, no nothing. And Dusek's theory goes "poof" once more.

Hey: Just checking in seen a lot of the posts....

If BVD got $$$21,000,000.00 That Judge is going where ever he wants in the middle of this trial... Don't tell me it doesn't work that way.... seen it in Louisiana..... At this point any body can be bought..... In fact, experts are $.10 a dosen.

This is sick....
