Chicago (3 million) had about 20 times the murders of Britain 15 years ago, Chicago still had more intrusive gun control than Britain. It may not have appeared that way on paper, but the Chicago government was, IMHO, far more intrusive and abusive in fighting against guns than the brits are even today.

This is a good example of Gun Control in action.

Watching the situation in Britain, I feel like I am witnessing the slow disintegration of a great ship that is storm-tossed upon large rocks. Many of the crew are trapped on board and can't escape, it's falling apart and can't get free. A doomed ship, slowly, inevitably going under the waves, taking all aboard with it.
