If Lois has been in on all the MK interviews with Police then she knows everything MK has said therefore it makes sense why the Police would ask the family not to ask as they already know or at Lois and Ed does, assuming Lois shared the info with her husband.
Do you think King's opinion is correct?

The two cars in the parking lot?
IMHO - Drug deal
Car flashes lights so the other one sees him. Second car pulls up. A few minutes later they both take off.
Drug deal...

I don't know if King is correct or not. The abductor had a gun, and threatened Elizabeth's life, and threatened the life of her family if she didn't keep quiet. From reports, it has also been said that the abductor didn't use Elizabeth's name either. I just don't know...

or how about Smart house key for money or drugs?

Hi there,
You had the name of the track coach several days ago. Do you still have it? Also, weren't there three people with the same name in the area that turned up on the sex offender website?
A "Trusted member of the community".
Somebody that Elizabeth & MK knew, (according to Larry King's analysis).
I'm trying to figure out why Ricci would rob from the Smarts, then wait an entire year with the only contact being to get the title to the Jeep. Then one day he gets a wild hair and decides to kidnap her? Hmm....
Track coach
Get your shoes
Running shoes
New running shoes bought specificially for her new spot on the track team.
The track team she had just joined maybe three days earlier?
Ok everybody...flame away!

Has it been established that he had a key?
I heard speculation discussed here, but I haven't seen that anywhere else.

I won't flame you, but teachers and coaches are checked out pretty thoroughly here. And Ricci admitted to not only burglarizing the Smart's home, but several home within the neighborhood in the past year. I think he needed money, and traded information on the Smart's home for that money. IMHO
To: Utah Girl
They are checked out pretty good here in Minnesota as well.
Unfortunately in the past five years or so there have been a couple that have slipped through.
One female, one male. The female is in prison for having an affair with a male student, (I believe he was 14 or 15), then violating probation by seeing him again.
The male was a sex offender that moved from another state and somehow managed to get through a crack. Had a 14 or 15 year old female student to his apartment repeatedly for sex. These people make me ill.
I hope this isn't the case, but the whole shoe thing made me wonder. Along with the fact that she just joined the team/became acquainted with him.

If Ricci weren't involved why would he lie and say he never had the Jeep between May 30 - Jun 8, that he never took the Jeep on May 30 or returned it on Jun 8, not tell who helped him tow it in or who met him across the street and gave him a lift home when he returned it, and why wasn't the Jeep seen by neighbors at his trailer between May 30 - Jun 8?

Did that mean additional items were stolen the night Elizabeth disappeared? I heard only parts of his answer." That has been my theory because of the delay between the time Liz left her room and MK later saw the perp and Liz still in the house. That says burglary to me. If this was a straight kidnapping the perp would not have been able to get out of the house fast enough, but for some reason this guy hung around - probably looking for an additional score.
To: terilyn
speculation...since cops will not confirm entrance route.
My point is, it could have been more than just a drug deal between the two cars/drivers.

Nope, I'm not an insider. I just try to be observant. I heard the information a couple of weeks ago on Ashleigh Banfield's show that Lois Smart was in the interviews with Mary Katherine and the police/child forensic psychologists.
To: terilyn
Yeah, I realize that coaches and teachers can slip through the cracks, especially if they move from state to state to teach. Brigette had a theory about the coach early on, I can't remember what it was though...

It has been suggested that he was engaged in some other criminal activity not related to Liz's abduction. And was just incredibly unlucky about the timing!

well, I am thinking if the items were from that night, then they could be Lizzie's clothes ,purse perhaps...etc....
what if it is a guy that the girls would know....the burglar...let's say this is only a burglary gone bad..would take any witnesses...he did not know about MK...but he would know that Lizzie would finger him...
of course, that scenario is the worse for Lizzie I am afraid..
I wonder...just wonder...if her harp has been taken?

It is a possibility that he didn't have it and Moul isn't being truthful. We don't honestly know.
While I don't necessarily believe that, it's all speculation.
IMHO - Ricci didn't do it. IMHO - Thurber? Is that the neighbor that's had three different personalities? The neighbor that just happens to looks just like the original sketch issued? The neighbor that's trying ever so hard to implicate Ricci?
Heck, maybe Ricci's guilty as sin. Stuff just doesn't add up though. If he had the jeep and put that many miles on it, why haven't we heard from his employer that he missed work during the time in question? He missed the day prior to the night she was taken, but nobody has disputed the 8:00 pm missionary meeting. He was home in the early morning hours according to his wife and neighbor. He went to work at 10:30. That would have been the 6th. Did he work on the 7th? What time of day was the jeep returned on the 8th? If he missed work on the 7th and the jeep came back late on the 8th, then he'd have had enough time. Otherwise he wouldn't have if the mileage reported is accurate.
That would tell the story of whether he could have been the one with the jeep during that time period if there was in fact around 1000 miles put on it.
