People go nuts from a tiny physical nerve dying---toothache...
can you imagine what spiritual annihilation of a human being/soul will be like...
even for an instant!

Actually Christianity has done a lot of good for me. Before I was a Christian I wanted to kill people like you (People who disagreed with me) myself. I wanted to shoot them in the head and watch the confused looks on their faces as the blood spurted from them like a fountian.
Now God has entered my life and changed me so much that I no longer have those thoughts and feelings. Is that not an amazing blessing? He has taken away my anger and set me free. Praise God.

I think that it stirred them up because they find it disturbing that you like the idea of people suffering for eternity. That's just a guess, though.
To: Khepera
Boy that eternity thing really stirred them up father. Why do you suppose that is? Probably because it carries with it the minute possibility that people like you will be present in some sort of afterlife still wasting time trying to convince people that there is evidence that woman was made from a man's rib, dinosaurs were present in biblical times, etc

Actually I would say you stopped a little short in your therepy .. I still think you are a very sick individual
AND I'M NOT JOKING

Nature is as it is and not as we want it to be but we can only work with what we observe. And that which is observed are scientific facts. These facts are most certainly not the ultimate facts (i.e. as nature really is) but you cannot work with what you have not observed.

Wow. You sound like a psychopath, and I'm almost afraid to imagine what might happen if the mental leash you put on yourself should stretch or break.

Sounds like your problems could have been just as easily solved through heavy medication and/or an extended stay in the psychiatric ward.

I may rethink my lack of religion. That anyone could even appear to understand the rantings of f.Christian strikes me as an event of possibly Biblical proportions.
To: Khepera
Now
God the great deceiver has entered my life and
changed duped me so much that I
no longer only have those thoughts and feelings on "God" threads towards those who DARE have opinions different than mine.

I'm holding back for the big KO!
To: Khepera; Dimensio
Hm, religion may not be true but in this case it's definitely useful.

Heck, even Napoleon acknowledged this fact:
Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich.

If you really don't believe in an afterlife, doesn't that make life pretty meaningless?

That depends. What is the meaning of life?

Or maybe he's handling a snake while typing.
