This case involved an atheist who objected to his daughter hearing other students saying the pledge. Didn't know that. Free speech means listening to all sorts of things you don't want to hear.

Didn't know that. Free speech means listening to all sorts of things you don't want to hear. Mandatory participation in the Pledge got knocked down years ago.
Yeah, the Dad's a nutjob. Went to court to try to have "In God We Trust" taken off our currency a few years back, got laughed out of the courtroom.
