"And f_ck you too, Kaite," Coulter returned.
Perfect!
Ms. Coulter was taking her to the woodshed, but doing it in such a subtle way I'm not sure Katie had the mental capacity to offer a counter-argument. Let's not forget, perkyKatie ain't no rocket scientist and has been suppin' at the trough of Lib'ral Bilge for all these many years...Ann, OTOH, is used to being introduced as a RadicalRightWinger prepared to do intellectual battle with a Lib'ral cohort.

My bad...I listen to him all the time and never heard a single negative word said about the child, even when she went overseas and criticized America for our heartlessness--compared to her and her parents, of course!!

For the record, IMHO right-wing tele-bimbo seems pretty accurate. I think half the time Ann is putting on whoever is talking with her - she gets that little crooked grin like she's the only one in on the joke; some of her conversations with Alan Colmes seem very much that way. I am looking forward to reading her book, though.
Hey, back off..
She's OUR Right wing, tele-bimbo..
(and don't you or your rump fondling doctor forget it either..)
How kind of you to say so!"Right Wing" by Hillary's standards, for sure--and "perky Katie's" as well. Are those your standards?
Well, we probably disagree on at least one point here - "Bimbo" implies a lack of intelligence or dim-wittedness. Ann Coulter certainly doesn't lack intelligence. She quick with a witty reply when the liberals attempt to corner her. She bats down the embellishments of the left easily and smiles (that "crooked grin" is her taking pleasure at outwitting the opponent) as she does so. That's why I like her.
No, she's not the absolute perfect woman - in particular, I think as many others do that she needs to put on about 20 pounds. But she chose to be a lawyer and author, not a model. Besides, looking at her schedule for today, its a wonder she ever gets time to eat.
Yea...yer comments about El Rushbo were so out of character for anything I've heard him say, I had my doubts. In fact, when I saw "June 27, 200_" I thought I had you nailed until I realized that wouldda been tomorrow...LOL!!
"You really think he never went after Chelsea? I find it hard to believe, but i'd be happy if it was true - commentators should draw the line somewhere before pol's kids, I think."
I listen to him a lot and I'd never heard him attack Chelsea and I know he's cut off some callers who started to...Chelsea's fair game now, but I agree we ought to let kids have a childhood despite what field of endeavor their parents may have chosen.

More now, from the psychological analysis perspective: Katie is brighter than most of the women on TV. But she has been losing it ever since her husband died. A couple of weeks ago she broke up with her still-married boyfriend because he wouldn't put the finishing touches on the divorce.
Ann, of course, is used to coping without a man. All that agression needs a place to go --and Katie is the perfect recipient.
Some might say all that money is going to her head. But I think it's time for her to realize she can't buy herself a decent husband at age 45 and is now in the same boat as Ann, only older.
And it probably wouldn't hurt Ann to tone it down a bit. She would have scored some points by mentioning the "attack."
The Eva Braun comment isn't really fair (Eva Braun never had anything to say publicly), but it is funny. Lighten up,ladies, and work together. (Katie might be a bit more of a closet conservative than we think.)
I do find Ann's intellect very appealing. She is a smart woman, and if she gained some weight, I would find her very physically appealing as well.
Katie is perky as the day is long and pretty cute to boot, though she is liberal to the core, and I find that unattractive. Something about that $62 million paycheck though, don't know what it is, but it would help in making me unconcerned about her leftist attitude.
So, Katie, call me!
And Ann, please eat something!!!!!!!
What she said was that no conservative had ever said anything about other people's looks posing as real news, instead of opinion pieces. She refered to news items about Katherine Harris by libs that insulted her looks.C'mon Ms. Coulter, that's a bunch of baloney.
no conservativehadhas ever said anythingabout other people's looksposing as real news, instead of opinion pieces. That's a stronger statement; if you can't refute that then you can't refute what Ann was saying, either. And you cannot refute that, because journalism is anticonservative (only censored journalism is conservative)--and because herd journalism presumes to have a patent on objectivity.
If you insinuate that a journalist is not objective, you will learn that you have picked a fight with people who buy ink by the barrel. Geting along and going along on the "objectivity" front is the cardinal rule of the journalists' guild.
Why Broadcast Journalism is Unnecessary and Illegitimate.
It is naive to expect a guest to be able to bulldoze a show host; they make sure they have all the home court advantage they think they need. And in any event, anything unpleasant goes down the memory hole. The most a guest can do is what Ann apparently did--keep smiling, and keep returning the ball to the host's end of the court.
