The ME testified that she wasn't shot, stabbed or strangled. He said that he could not rule out suffocation; so everyone is under the assumption that she was suffocated.

LA seems to be the source of rumor & flat out lies. Late last week, I had heard that an LA radio station had leaked info that the hairs found in Danielle's hand was confirmed to be DW's. When testimony finally came out, it blatantly wasn't true. Can't take anything you hear third party as fact anymore. You have to watch the actual trial.

"Staple" as used in describing fibre refers to the length of the individual unit or hair. Sheep, for example, have individual hairs making up their wooly coats that vary in length depending on not just the breed, but the individual sheep, and the location on the body the hair is located.

It is a way of describing the individual unit making up a thread. In making cloth, an individual "staple" is not used, but is twisted along with other "staples" into a thread or strand, which is then used to weave or knit or crochet the cloth.

Cotton can also have a short staple, or in the finest cotton, a long staple, such as found in Pima Cotton...

Hope that helps. The reason I know this is that I am a spinner, weaver, and knitter, and this is not the only term used in desribing the individual unit that is spun to make the thread... there are other terms used, bbut do not want everyones' eyes to glaze over!

TV talking heads get it wrong all the time. Saw a reporterette this morning talking about the nationwide hunt for the white cheroke jeep sitting in police custody. (Smart case). "If you've seen this vehicle call your local police"

I am sure it was in the LA papers. I am merely pointing out that there is NO evidence nor any testimony given by trained personnel that she was strangled. Her body was so badly decomposed they could not tell HOW she died.

That is one more of the strange things DVD did. I did not know about that one.

I bet there is a website out there that has a list of all the strange things the VD family has done like lieing to the police, selling van, buying bmw, finding doors open and alarm flashing and not checking on kids, etc, etc.

I am not trying to say DW did or did not do it. I just find all these things the VD's did or did not do very odd.If my little angel was missing or murdered the last thing I would be able to do is sell or buy a vehicle. I would be distraught.You would be hard pressed to get me to do anything for quite some time.

Life is not simple, or death in this case. There is no proof that she was even murdered, could have been a covered up accident. But assuming it was at the hand of another: was it first degree murder? I see no evidence that anyone planned it. Or second degree murder? Or voluntary manslauder, or involuntary manslauder?

With all this talk of the fibers...has there been any testimony tying the fibers to anything DW owned?

What about the blue paint chips found under her nails - should be easy enough to find out whether or not it was fingernail polish - Brenda would know if Danielle recently painted her nails blue. If that's not the explanation - it seems a very important clue. If some are theorizing that Danielle suffocated in a storage compatrment of the RV - and fought and scratched trying to get out - that should be easy to show too -I don't think the inside of the storage area was blue - was it? I heard one witness describe DW's RV as being light blue - but I don't think it looks blue in the photos I've seen. I think Damon's van was blue - that doesn't mean anything - it's just the only thing I can recall being mentioned as blue.
