My Infamous 10:

"GRIDLOCK" Verbal shorthand used by lazy speakers. "Traffic jam" is much more descriptive.

"PERSON OF SIZE" Meaningless bugle oil. Every swinging d*** on the planet is "of size."

"PROGRESSIVE" Yeah - and usually progressing toward socialism, communism, and Marxism in this context.

"HOT WATER HEATER" One doesn't need to heat hot water - its already hot.

"HATE RADIO" Used by idiots to refer to radio programs espousing points of view they disagree with. Often heard in Chappaqua and parts of Palm Beach County, FL.

"HORIZONTAL MAMBO" A euphemism for sex, it was cute the first bazillion times I heard it ...

"DOESN'T RISE TO THE LEVEL OF ..." Often used by the indefensible (i.e. Rats) to describe the indefensible.

"VAGITARIAN" Charming euphemism for a lesbian. Try "pervert" instead.

"HATE-FILLED" Rarely true for anyone except mouth-breathers who think jackboots and swastikas are a kewl fashion statement. Thankfully on the decline.

And my personal imfavorite ...

"MISTAKES WERE MADE" No kidding - and the people who utter these weaselwords were probably the ones who made them.
