As Valpal1 and I speculated, the hair tangled in Danielle's hand was her own hair per witness testifying right now.

Witness also confirms that initially she was using a hairbrush with hairs in it to compare presumptive Danielle hair. When the body was discovered she compared known Danielle hair to the hairbrush hair and they were similar.

Looked at fibers found at DW laundry (all) and bedding that was found on his bed. Orange fibers found at DW's. Danielle's necklace had a long orange fiber tangled in it that was similar to fibers found at DW's.
