You simply can't try to think like a pedophile because they are not normal..therefore the analogy to adults who have pics of adult porn would not be valid. Although some adult rapists have used adult porn to get in the mood to rape..

Pedophiles and their motives are not like normal humans...so you have to think outside the box with molestors.. Does porn CAUSE rape? No, but it can be a tool USED by rapists for a variety of reasons..

I didn't say one way or the other regarding porn causing rape. I said it can't be proven. Unless there's proof he took her for sexual reasons, you can't make the motive stick. I completely understand the porn, rape, kid aspect. There is no provable evidence that that is what DW did. That's all I'm saying. There is no proof and therefore, there's doubt.

Just something I'm wanting comments on - this bit from an article regarding Danielle's 2 best friends -

"The three best friends, who lived in Sabre Springs and attended Creekside Elementary School, would put on glossy makeup together, dress up like models, and sleep over at one another's houses. They were enthusiastic about art, enjoyed taking camping trips, and sold Girl Scout cookies to raise money for their local Brownie troop."

I'm just going to state some observations I've been making recently - about my niece - she is turned 7 in April. She is still very much a little kid - she plays and pretends - but would be much more likely to pretend she is a kitten or a baby or a mommy - or something silly and childlike - than to put on glossy make-up and pretend to be a model - I don't even think she yet grasps the concept of "beautiful models" - she thinks I'm beautiful - haha - she hasn't been tainted too much yet by our culture - and skinny supermodel types being the supposedly truly beautiful people. She has gotten those kid make-up toy type things for gifts before - but I don't think she really puts it on herself too much - she'd rather put it on a doll I think. I look at my niece and see what Danielle might have been like - totally innocent - but do you think she may have been more grown-up seeming than my niece? Any moms or dad's out there who can comment on how different 7 yr. olds are?

it's the kids who are snatched for molestation purposes are normally the ones who don't survive. How many are taken and then found alive later? Very few..

That's what I said momo..it's a tool used by some rapists, but I said it doesn't cause rape. Some rapists do use porn as a stimulus prior to the crime.. It's a LOOK IN TO THE MIND of the person who owned it, possessed it, protected it and kept it on his shelf.

There have been molesters in our neighbohood that make friends and woo the kids..

He is a nice man with a motor home and a pool..she is a kid from a home where sex is a cottage industry..he could have gotten her to play with him I bet..there was no reason to "snatch" her
