one thing I learned today was via the commentators who said during break that the 18 dog hairs we think are from layla were in the lint taken from dw's trashcan within his home.

He thought it was a dog hair..witness corrected ..it was wavy not white, suspected pubic hair. Feldman said what did the tests show...human pubic hair.

Found brown hair, colorless fibers and animal hairs not similar to Layla's

Hair found between Driver seat and door on the floor... she thought it was an animal hair. Further examination found it was pubic hair. That is what I heard. Feldman just kept on going with the cross. Perhaps it isn't important?

Yep...blonde hair found on drivers side, foot well..pubic hair found in same area..but between door and seat. No wonder feldman's trying to intimidate the witness.

yep..a few notes later she did say it could have been dog hair..but original suspicions of it being a pubic hair was confirmed.

...with regard to Feldman saying it looks like many dogs could have been in the MH...she said, "It could have been just one dog that shed alot." Feldman asked if she knew the shed rate of dogs, she said no, so he said her estimate that all those varied and many (100+) hairs came from one dog was just a guess. She said yes, it was just a guess.

Witness originally thought that hair in shower drain was DVD, later realized it wasn't. Conceded that other blonds may have been in MH. Also found chemically treated hair?

Blonde treated hair in MH-- she did not compare it to BVD's hair.

Apparently this trip with his wife has been scheduled for some time. He addressed it in open court. Besides, he'll be back before they are finished.

In fact, he stated that both sides were aware of this trip and his acceptance of this case was with the agreement he would be gone that week. But I didn't hear there would be a substitute judge. I thought he said -- to the jurors -- there would be no court during that time. I think it's July 14-19 or so.
