No, this is more than a religion, and more than Islam. It is an ideology called Islamism, and it's an outgrowth of one particular sect of Islam, called Wahhabi, that was an obscure cult until it got hold of billions in oil revenues in Arabia, under the Saudi thugs.

Now, like Nazism, it must be defeated and destroyed. But there are many Muslims who are opposed to it, and the entire religion of Islam is not the problem.
