red stain on curtain on drivers side front area of MH...curtains were open when first observed....stain was visable without disturbing curtains....Delaney called her attention to stain....cut out w/scapel...item #86

2/27..reported to recovery scene as criminalist...she was at one point touching body, not with hands, tape lift....no teeth found outside her mouth...

explaining DNA....all persons unique..except twins..1/2 from biological mom..1/2 from dad.....all contain same DNA codes

I've been browsing these threads for the last few weeks, and the prosecution has been presenting it's case for three weeks now. Is it just me, or do they have absolutely zilch on Westerfield? I know I sure haven't seen anything that I would even consider a preponderance of the evidence, much less beyond a reasonable doubt. I've sat here and tried to convict DW in my mind's eye, and I just haven't seen anything, not one thing, that jumps out to me and says "yeah, okay, this guy was slick, but he certainly did do it". Am I missing anything here? Like I said, I haven't been following this thing like I know many of you have, but I have spent some time at least every other day following these threads to see if there's anything, anything at all, to make me think Westerfield did it, but I got nothing. Anyone who can help me out here, I'd appreciate it.

DNA is specific to humans and primates.....when comparing crime scenes to known, there can be exclusions, inclusions (highly likely), inconclusive.

Why weren't they allowed to get into the pattern of the blood stains on the jacket (spatter, drop, whatever)? It seems like it could be pertinent - I don't know exactly what they could determine - but they could at least go there.
What exactly do you suppose Feldman is going to do about the blood? He can't really go cross contamination - there was no other blood of Danielle's was there?

DNA tests were performed on 3 items from MH....DNA on 94D-2..shoulder of jacket...and other 2 locations of jacket..stain from lapel...94D-3..back of collar...(dang phone, turned hubby down for lunch for ya'll)....no DNA results from back of collar.....testing done on VD's 2/15....

results of D & B and underwear...VD's references were compared w/underwear to determine if offspring of VD's...consistant w/being offspring.....later, obtained known from body...portion of rib bone...DNA profile was identical to previous
