Nah. If the family had a "priest," he would have abducted Elizabeth's brother.

You said it. And the gossip- and scandal-mongers on FR on the other hand have been QUICK to jump on every tid-bit, no matter how groundless. Yup. Like I said yesterday, some people people have a psycological need to deamonize the family so they can convince themselves that it doesn't happen to good people like them. With the Ramsey's and VanDamns it was an easy thing to deamonize them, but with the Smarts they have to exagerate and clutch at straws like crazy.

The media are like the blind man and the elephant. I have often gotten the impression that the reporter only knew a few of the fact reported, and misinterpreted others. That is the position that I am maintaining here. Am only too aware of the inaccuracies and distortions of the media. They want a story--not too concerned about facts!

You have to be kidding. If they know who did it, they will pick him up immediately. The longer they leave Elizabeth in his hands, the better her chances of being killed. Unless they don't know where she is, and they're hoping he leads them to her.
As of today, though, I'm trying to stay away from speculation as to her whereabouts, or who did it. There are too many twists.

"Speaking of Uncle Tom, has he made any public statements since LKL?...." Not that I have heard- but then, I don't watch much television- especially in the Summer in Alaska- too many other things to do (apparently I will spend the rest of THIS particular beautiful day painting- Wife's orders...)

Not me. BTW, where is The Ceremonial Dagger, anyway? Utah Girl and Illbay had it, last I heard (gossip, gossip, gossip)....

No. Most of my conservative Catholic friends would agree with that crack and laugh. They are thoroughly fed up with the homosexual mafia that exists in the Catholic priesthood, and want it cleared out completely.

Last time I saw it, it was at a special wine and cheese party, being used to cut the brie, while all the Mormons secretly got drunk.

Did you consider that a bash? Sorry.
To: lady lawyer
this is a relatively minor detailI respectully disagree. The fact that the sister did not run and tell the parents IMMEDIATELY had many people puzzled. The only thing that had had folks ready to believe why she didn't tell the parents was because of the threats made directly to her by the assailant.

"If anyone in the Church knew anything at all about this abduction they would first call the .... FBI and may relate it later to someone in the Church."
Talk about one-stop shopping..... 8~)
