Just a minor correction: I think he calls him Gray Doofus, not Gray Davis.

Don't forget that he has physically assaulted staff members -- usually women. He is sick. What??!! I haven't heard anything about this. When did this happen?

France it wasn't neccessarily a huge turn to the right wing but the left was so dispirited it stayed home. Is the same thing going to happen in California?I sure hope so!

It's too early to go on the air. No one -- but us -- is paying attention to the election. Let Davis continue to rack up his negatives. When the time is right, Simon will be in with the knock-out punch. We have four-and-a-half months until the election. The longer Davis can wallow in his mistakes and bad press, the better. When that is no longer effective, then Simon's team should bury him. But now, it's too early and would be ineffective.

.....political experts question whether the first negative TV ads produced by Davis
against his opponent, GOP businessman Bill Simon Jr., will do much good........ And I'll bet these are Democrat political experts.

the BIG problem for Simon is that there are TWO Californian Republican parties, - unfortunately despite the recent retreat of Mr. Sharpe, for that sole reason Davis will shock all the pundits and win reelection ---
To: ElkGroveDan
Remember, Simon has to have a large enough lead to overcome the dead vote, as they always go heavily democrat. LBJ used to count on them as his most reliable base.
To: Richard Kimball
Vote fraud will never be taken seriously until a few enterprising Republicans use it to blatantly win elections.

Davis's bad numbers have nothing to do with his being one of Gary Condit's best friends?

What??!! I haven't heard anything about this. When did this happen?
When he was either running or shortly after he was elected last term. He verbally abused and I think threw a book at a female staff member. She went public. It lasted about a week in the CA papers.

SiMon is doing the right things. He is out in the state meeting regular folks. He is fundraising.
You can ask the media why his message isn't more pronounced out there, altho' there are Simon reports in the media from time to time.
The ads will come later. Simon is still letting Davi$ define himself to the voters.;; ie, letting GraYouT rub his nose in his own , yaknow ..

I'd like to see him out there with "Jimbo" Brulte!
