1) There's nowhere to run. You'd only be delaying the inevitible.
2) I'm not running. This is my home. I am an American. Even if the majority of Americans forget what they are, I will not. I will stay and face what must be faced. I swore to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, and that oath is still binding as far as I'm concerned.

I gave the same oath in 1987 when I joined the Navy, but frankly, the snakes in Washington aren't worthy of my loyalty.
You're right. We'll most likely end up dead. But then, we'll all end up dead someday anyway. I'd rather die a man than live a slave, even a happy slave.
Also, remember that your oath wasn't actually to those totalitarians in Washington, but to a piece of paper and to the ideals it espouses.
