I'm wondering, since the Masons do all kinds of Good Deeds, and they're extremely effective Networkers, and they have political pull, why don't they get active to maintain what there is that still remains of it, and restore Constitutional Government in the U.S.?

Guess that's not one of their Priorities, huh?

Why should good deed doers do the cockroach routine when you shine the spotlight on 'em? That alone should start the whistles and flags for all but the braindead.

I believe we might know where that standard issue cover/catch phrase came from ---- "It's For the Children!"

Great Excuse for Everything, isn't it?

Masonic Cheese:

A postman, on his route, picked up a letter from a mailbox that was addressed to God. The postman seeing that the letter was not sealed, and there being no postage on it, opened and read it.

It was from a man who was down on his luck and was asking God for help. The letter asked for $50 to get his family through the next week.

The postman, being a Mason, took the letter to Lodge that evening, read it, and asked for donations for the unfortunate fellow. The Masons, wanting to help, took up a collection, and received twentny five dollars from the brethren. The Secretary placed the cash in a Lodge envelope, and gave it to the postman to deliver the following day, which he did.

Another day passed, and the postman again found an unsealed letter in the mailbox addressed to God. Again he opened and read the letter, which thanked God for the money, but instructed him to send it through the Knights of Columbus next time as the Masons kept half.

A Candidate for initiation was to be picked up and driven to the Lodge, but before this could happen the car broke down. The Candidate said as it was no great distance he would go on his bicycle.

Just when he reached the top of the hill his chain broke. As the Lodge was at the bottom of the other side and all he needed was a backpedal brake, so he repaired the chain with a cord he had in his pocket and free-wheeled downhill to the Lodge.

Later that evening in reply to a toast in his honor, he said how proud he was to be a Freemason but could not understand, as he had told no one, how the WM knew that he had come on his own free wheel and a cord.

A mason who had just been installed as Master of his lodge and was duly attending all the functions he could was having a hard time with his wife who said... " All those masters-in-office have to do is click their fingers and you would be there wouldn't you?.........I wish I was a master!" After due thought, he said... "So do I dear..... we swap them for a new one every year!!"

All but five of our Presidents have been 32nd degree Masons.

Is this true? I thought the Masons were pretty much a social club and the lodge was a bar. I've never heard this before

Funny..... I thought we (they!) still had freedom of expression around here.

"to make disclosure compulsory would be discriminatory under Britain's recent Human Rights Act

Gee. And our latest hate-crimes-thought-control-police-politically corrupt liberal Gestapo DNC members over here are doing it only "for the children." They have said themselves that freedom of expression is important, haven't they? (As long as they are the only ones expressing things, that is.)

Because a freedom is a terrible thing to waste.

It sounds like everybody on this thread, except for a few, are making jokes about this secret society stuff. It is not a joke. Just about every politician is part of Free Masonry. Where I live, there is that big blue mason sign and in back of the block the temple sits right there and I always see people go in there. A member of my church had the hat and a ring on and when my wife asked him what it meant, those signs, he explained that he was a Mason. Leading up to the town, where I live, there are Mason signs on the major roads, leading up to the temple location.

About two weeks ago, Maybe three, I posted something regarding Masons and my post got yanked.

I am also reading a great book called, "Hope of The Wicked" and it descibes, in detail, how all facets of our Government and the Governments of other countries are under Masonic Secrecy. Look at the Trilateral Commission. Look at the Council of Foreign Relations.

Did you all know that Richard Nixon was a Mason and he had very close ties to Nelson Rockefeller and David Rockefeller. Nelson Rockefeller provided Nixon with a luxurios apartment in Manhattan and a $200,000 a year job and doing practically nothing for it. Another one to lok at is Henry Kissenger. Some thought that he was an agent from Moscow. Read the history, it is interesting.

Do you all know how Shriners started?

In a town called Fez, which is in Morrocco, 20,000 Christians were lined up around a hole and then they were given a sword in the back and their limp bodies were pushed in the hole and when the hole filled up with blood, the murderers dipped their white caps in the blood and that is how Shriners got their red velvet hats. Red Skelton was a Shriner. Have you ever seen their emblem?

I have not only read the 'tract' on Freemasonry, but also went to the main website and read a good deal of the other cartoons present there. And all i have to say is WHAT!!!!

Ai yi yi!

I cannot believe what i read ! How could they print such baloney (not all of it is baloney, but some of it is obviously amazingly asinine)! Amazingly so!

First of all the assertation that the dinosaurs were sucked down into the earth strata by 'great vortexes during the flood of Noah!' And that 'that is why we find fossils today!'

Also the ludicrous statement that the world came into being 6000 years ago! Do they know there are civilizations OLDER than 6000 years! For example although Egypt was brought together as a unified nation around 3000BC (approx. 5000 years ago), there was an pre-Egyptian civilazation called the Pre-Dynasty, led by such notables as Narmer. They do not know exactly when it started...HOWEVER they have dated back certain artifacts (such as the Narmer Plate, which was a prehistoric sky calender) back to 4468BC (that is around 6470 years ago.... which somehow would not make sense if the world was created 6000 years ago).

Also if you look at the Nubian Kingdoms (of what is now known as Sudan) they settled there in the Mesolithic period (30,000-20,000BC), and were DOMESTICATING animals in the Neolithic age (10,000-3,000BC)! How can that be possible if the earth came into being 6,000 years ago? It just does not make sense.

And do not get me wrong.... i am not refuting the existence of God, nor am i championing or advocating evolutionism or its ilk! However i think that 'publications' that assert dinosaurs were fossilized by great whirlpools, or that the universe was created 6000 years ago are simply lying, and trying to tie their (rather ridiculous) lies with theology and faith!

Children may believe in some of the things those tracts say.....however any lucid logical person who sat down and clearly thought of it would find it ridiculous that anyone would say the world was created 6,000 years ago! (Unless they want to come up with a statement that somehoe things 'aged' faster etc etc etc)!

Ai yi yi. For a moment i felt like i was back in the middle-ages reading the about people being burnt as heretics for suggesting the Eart revolved around the sun. However after reading about the universe being created 6,000 years ago i think those ignorant kooks in the middleages who believed the Earth was the center of the universe were in many ways better than the current crop! 6,000 years.....wow, what next!

Interesting. I've met Shriners who wore white, black and yeller fez's. Got any good stories about those?

I think we can file that story in the same place as the one about Jews putting the blood of Palestinians in their passover cookies.

Baphomet was the god, that was cooked up by the Pope, with which to discredit, steal the supposed " secret " fortune of , and mdurder the Knights Tempelar, so that they no longer had any power, money, and the King of France didn't have to pay back his loans. It was a lie then, the Masons don't worship Baphomet ( never have ! ) , and you're spreading spurious propaganda and lies.

Now, that you've broken one of the Ten Commandments, you'd best worry about yourself.
