Next time we would appreciate your not poisoning Kobe. Maybe that had something to do with this series even getting past Game 4? HMMMMMM?

Silly, huh? Just like Jordan against Utah. Why is that 1500 meals were served that night and only one involved food poisoning? You can't defend what happened in Game 5 though, can you?

In your own mind, I'm sure you do.

Hey guys, LA fans were pointing out early how the NBA was fixng this series to go 7 from the get-go, and all you could do was mock and be smug. You didn't want to hear about it then, so shut up about it now. The refs flat out stole game 5 from the Lakers so what did you expect in game 6? Game 7 was officiated straight up, and judging by that last second call that sent Bibby to the line to tie it up, the NBA was obviously more than willing to have a New Jersey-Sacramento Finals so you had your chances.
Picking which 9 to ignore and which one wins the sweepstakes is the way this ruse works.
I was so shocked that the Kings had possession after that. I was pretty pumped up at that time going into commercial break, so when the game returned and the Kings were in-bounding, my jaw dropped.
3. allowing Jackson to undress Kobe and hold his arm, preventing him from driving and disrupting his shot;
An obvious on-the-ball foul that the refs NEVER call at the end of a game...oh, wait, they did send Bibby (on an off the ball foul call) to the line with 8 seconds left in game 7 (game FRICKING seven!!) to tie it up. Christie did the same thing to Kobe on the very next play, no call...
How about the one foul shot Shaq had the entire game,even though he made 9 total dunks with people hanging all over him, and 17 shots made total for the game inside the key? How about the fact that Shaq and Kobe were in foul trouble for some ludicrous foul calls, ultimately resulting in Shaq fouling out?
That game was a joke. Try and find a game in the last few years where Shaq was reffed like that. Find a game where he played so little, fouled out taking only 1 FT the whole game and his defenders had so few fouls. You won't find one. Shaq fouls out every now and then, but his defenders usually get their share of fouls and he gets to the line pretty consistently.
The thing is, the Kings were warned, that series was going 7 no matter what. Even Jim Rome called it, saying last Friday that the Kings were not going to get any calls in game 6. By that point it was slightly obvious.
Correction: Phil is an awesome babysitter. Tex Winter has been the Bulls and Lakers real coach.
Yup! I'm just wondering how long this diamond6 chracter is going to drag this thread out with hysterical rants.
It's nasty; sort of like grizzly scat, but without the berry-seeds.
I get tired of the Lakers easily but, IMO, things looked fair throughout the series.
Yeah. I stumbled onto it last night, while linking to a Don Feder column. Ebonics. Kind of dry, compared to his usual style, I thought.

Well, on such a divisive issue, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.
