I measured my hair length this am. I ranges from 19 inches to 2 inches. Go figger. My daughter had her hair cut Friday, last night the length was anywhere from 3 to 9 inches, there are some blunt cut ends and there are still afew spit ends from where the section of hair cut was not all the same length. Just our measurements...

Hergus, good to see ya..

Jaded, political mom..the prosecutions whole point is that the hair was not suppose to be in the RV... Now, I know the defense may try to insinuate that danielle was in the RV prior to the night in question....we'll have to wait and see what happens..

Westerfield's attorneys have suggested Danielle might have wandered into Westerfield's motor home unsupervised, thus explaining how her blood and fingerprints also were found inside the vehicle. During previous court hearings, his attorneys have suggested he sometimes left the motor home parked and unlocked in front of his house.

Was her previous cut "layered"? Or did she have bangs? That sounds like a pretty flimsy piece of evidence IF that is all they got

Well, three minutes of the court TV "commentator" was enough for me, she GASPED when she "heard" that there was DNA evidence in the RV. Then she talkes about the "striking coincidence" that he took a jacket with a spot of blood to the cleaners. Well, duh. If he is innocent, and wore it while camping and digging his RV out of the sand, maybe he thougtht it was DIRTY?

Danielle's dead, justice is for the living. Let's just ask for Justice, period.

Even by asking like that, "justice for Danielle" -- you work against justice, you suggest revenge and not Justice and revenge, like lightning falls to the closest conductive point -- here Mr. Westerfield, whether he be guilty or no, whether Danielle was murdered or no.

Think how hard it is for me to listen to RR slam the parents...He made it a point to replay where Brenda said she had no regrets going to the "going away party" with her friends. So...is there a 3rd option to listen to the trial?

I have heard him slamming DW too. Apparently he is now an "equal opportunity" slammer. Besides, she did say it....

You know, she may have been told by her counselor, doctor or whoever that she shouldn't feel responsible for the evil of another... That's not unreasonable. To assume that she is responding incorrectly is not appropriate until someone proves that she's faking everything..faking grief, faking sadness...and you know what? Most parents are going to blame the killer, not themselves. That's why they go to parole hearings..that's why there is parents of murdered children support groups.

I don't buy it. I have NEVER heard a parent in such a situation say they would not change anything. That isn't blaming oneself, that is saying, "IF I had done such and such, I could have stopped it". Mothers with children with birth defects do that. *I* do that, even for minor things. Somebody who can't admit they might have made mistakes has to be completely self absorbed.

And also, if she is saying she wouldn't do anything differently that whole day, it means she will continue to do these irresponsible/illegal things, and those boys will have to endure it.

"IF I had done such and such, I could have stopped it".

Now that I agree with..i've done that myself over situations. (Now, without getting into the clintonista defintions of "is" is)...It's possible that her advisors told her to not admit to anything because of the facts of what she did do that night. To admit regret, could open the door to the defense trying to say that indeed she should feel regret, it's her fault her daughter is dead. Thats a "Hunch".
