Hillary Clinton is making National Security her top priority. Oh, you mean she wants more protection for HERSELF?
BTW alerts about the dams were made a week ago -
Tourist sites on high alert - USA Today - 24 May 2002
"The parks are safe, especially this year," says Holly Bundock, a spokeswoman for the National Park Service. More than 15% of the service's 1,400 rangers are on anti-terrorism duty at major dams and reservoirs such as Hoover, Grand Coulee in Washington state and Glen Canyon in Arizona, and at high-profile parks and monuments from the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota.

Boulder Dam? Where the hell is that?Boulder Dam and Hoover Dam are the same thing. When it was first being built, it was called Boulder Dam, and then a certain President who shares his name with a vacuum cleaner wanted it named after him.

Stink. I guess this means I won't be able to take the dam tour.

Loose lips sink ships. Or is that what you were trying for?
Huh? yeah I better stop leaking that classified info... I hope the people in the 300 cars that were before me don't talk...

"Maybe it was a can of Arabica coffee beans and that's what's got them in a tizzy." Arabica coffee (Coffea arabica) has 44 chromosomes whereas the Robusta (C.canephora) and other wild coffee species have 22. (Scientific American, June 2002)

Lets just deport all illegals, and have a moratorium on new imigrants until the terrorism stops. Is that too hard to understand?

About the "coffee can" object ... police and bomb squad thought it was too close to the road!
If that dam would have blown, my property here in Phoenix would be ocean-front!! We have about seven dams in this part of the country ... hard to believe we would be flooded. We haven't had much rain for the past two years, and I have been hearing that all the water levels are way, way down in all the reservoirs.
Anyway, I guess we dodged a bullet.

Now that was scary!

Are there shower facilities near this dam?
To: codebreaker
Hey, code ... can you please 'splain to me the significance of "shower" on the FR threads lately? For a while it was cheese, then moose (meese?), and now shower. What am I missing??
Thanks! I hate to be "behind the times"!

They do not choose to know who is here. They want to spy on US citizens , militia groups and churchs..WE are the real threat..
There is no US anymore.

Boulder dam was first authorized, quite by accident, in 1929.
Hoover was in a meeting discussing water projects in the Southwest when an aide handed him a bulletin about the stock market crash.
Upon reading it he hurried out of the room yelling, "Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!"

Thanks buddy. Just think, if they ever did blow the damn, there would be about 30 million thirsty people that would step in and do the job for the INS-FBI etc. Thank the lord I have a well.
And generators.....

If you don't live in the areas of Southern Nevada, Southern California, Phoenix, Tucson, or Flagstaff, this report doesn't affect you.Unless the dam goes and you have no water in your taps.
