This is the part that has me LOL!
Sounds like MLK came back from the grave to write that one.
Yea, all 20 of 'em. *snicker*
Loved it! She opened her mouth but nothing came out. She was too much in shock. Her liberal ideas were squished. What a show it was tonight! Glad we recorded it.
I'm sorry I missed the show! I was at a GOP debate, but I'll have to catch it when it's rebroadcast.
It definitely was.
Glad I have it taped!
Perhaps it was the nags and/or ass-inine braying that prompted the equine metaphor.
(Say, why do some sites use so many "temporary internet files"- what's the point?)
I'll say amen to that, Rev. It's really no fun anymore. There's so few people that seem to care about ideas of liberty and freedom. Seems like all some of them care about is making fun and tearing down people. :-(
I, for one, am all in favor of any grassroots effort to restore America to the glory it once had--morally, politically, etc. I think it's time to grow up and put all this carping aside.
Exactly.
If the people of this land don't get off their duffs and get involved in the political arena, then our nation will continue to go to pot. It's up the people, the grassroots, to preserve the American way of life for our posterity.
That is your interpretation. To me she was just upset of Alan's usurping all the time - she finally realized she and the others were there only as a backdrop to his serminazing. That is why she did not answer - she refused to be a pawn.
A host should ask questions of his guests - his questions short, the experts answers long. With Alan it is all upside down - his question includes a foundation and a history and his opinion, and bits of this and that - he does let them make a statement but from then on his questions are rhetorical and he does not really let them speak.
I admire Alan's monologs and wish there were more of them - but a host should be gracious to his guests and serve them, let them express their thoughts and ideas.
We kind of skipped over the yesterday's show - but it was a very significant one, especially the final outrage of the day where Alan SHOWED us X-Rays of the Israeli victims whos bodies were literally lacerated with nails embedded in the skeleton and the soft tissues. Somehow here in United States we only HEAR about this practice of putting nails and such in the bombs. We do not realize how vicious, how cruel, how sadistic this practice is. We put in jail people who show cruelty to cats and dogs. Palestinians do it to little children!!! Intentionally. Their rationale to cause the greatest harm can turn on them - Israeli can use the same rationale by using tactical nuclear arms - after all, the radiation would kill the survivors - the nuke does cause a lot of harm. Again, Dr. Keyes SHOWED it to us and the image haunts me the whole day. It should be shown over and over until Americans start FEELING for Israelis instead of following the Palestinian PR.
The RenewAmerica site says that it wants to bring together all conservative/Americanist groups around the principles of our nation's founding:
"All of us can find common ground with other dedicated Americans on which to work together for common ends, if we are willing to de-emphasize distinctions and rally around our common national creed in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. We cannot allow unnecessary contention to prevent the kind of good-faith cooperation that is needed to make a difference in preserving our nation.
"What we need in America--for the sake of our nations future--is a new political ecumenism that unites principled Americans of all persuasions and parties around our founding principles. We need a national political movement that brings us all together upon the things we can readily agree with, no matter the endless things we can cite that divide us.
"As long as any of us can profess belief in the vision of our Founders, we should be able to work together in the cause of preserving our nations political and moral heritage.
"That is the kind of vision the majority of Americas voters must willingly share if our country is to survive as a nation." http://www.renewamerica.tv/plan/fullplan.htm#part2
Sounds good to me.
It is time for the leaders of the conservative movement to put the days of turf protection and selfish interest behind. It is patently stupid to duplicate efforts, and to keep having to reinvent the wheel every election cycle.
I am hoping and praying that a renewal will occur very soon...a renewal of the spirit of servant leadership.
I say bravo to every conservative who is making a difference in their part of the battlefield...there is more than enough work to go around in the huge task of educating the American people about the core principles of our republic.
That's why I think the stated goals of RenewAmerica.tv are admirable...because the idea is to strengthen the useful structures and the good people and the worthwhile organizations that are already in place, while at the same time working to recruit, educate, train and empower the next generation of leaders for America.

EV
I watch AKIMS to not only hear what his guests have to say but mainly to see how Alan can masterfully show the weakness of their logic. He's trying to teach them the truth, if they'd only listen. That goes for the guy at the end of the program, too, who has that website with pictures of women going into abortion clinics. I think Alan was right to scold him about that. This guy is not doing the pro-life movement a favor by doing that.
I, too, saw the x-rays on the show last night. It was horrible. To think of the trauma those poor people went through. I think America had better wake up and start living right or else this same thing will happen here.
