Exactly so. For the most part, a woman will marry an abverage looking man, who is intelligent, a good provider, and has more than a modicome of social graces. They'll even go out with / marry an ugly man , if he is powerful enough.

Most men , today, don't know how to behave, woo, or court a woman. Heck, they don't even know how to " date " ! This is patently obvious, by reading not only the threads here, about : " Boo hoooooooo ... We just celebrated our 35th anniversary last week; my husband and I . I fell for the sound of his voice, and his brilliance. It also didn't hurt any, that we agree about 99% of everything and have so very much in common. LOL

Oh, and he's also a VERY handsome man.

Not really . Many scions of wealthy famlies, those with good connectionss, and keep the wealth or increase it, are also intelligent. They have social graces, went to the best schools, and aren't dumb / thieves / immoral / or whatever else you claim. There are idiots and bad apples in all social strata . The wealthy don't all get there by trickery , underhandness, and theft.

Money, looks, and social status in reality have the higher priority with most women.

You speak the absolute truth. Brains are very far down the list of what most women want. Looks are all that matter, unless you have money or power, in which case they'll deign to give you a "second chance." But if you don't have any of those three things, look forward to a life growing old alone with your cats!

Women may be responsible for the intelligence of the human race because they consistently pick brain over brawn when choosing a mate.

This fallacy can be proven false simply by a trip to the local high school. Failing that, my view is that it has nothing to do with brains or brawn, per se, but with power and wealth (which are loosely interchangable): those with money or prestige or position get the girl.

Looks don't count, for women, early as mch as you guys assume they do. If a man can talk well on a variety of subjects ( NOT football / cars / their job ), behave mannerly, and doesn't look like a troll , he has a pretty good chance with most women.
