April 23, 2001: Bureau of Prisons terminated Chandra's six-month internship early because it was limited by regulations to 120 days following the completion of course work. She was told she would not be hired.

Levy went to Condit's apartment to explain that her internship had abruptly ended and to seek his assistance. She was upset. April 24, 2001: Condit said he last spoke to Chandra on this date. He could not recall whether they had sex.

She shows up at Condit's apt. on the 23rd. On the 24th Condit speaks with Chandra but can't remember if they had sex. She spent the night? He can't remember if he had sex with Chandra the last time he saw her alive but he can remember that she was "upset". April 25, 2001: Levy attended her going-away luncheon at the Hyatt Hotel in Washington.

Anne Marie Smith said that he never let her take ID when he met her; and Chandra's aunt said the same thing.

How was the show? I remember when that stuff came out about the key, but I cannot remember whether it "panned out" as they say.

More recently, in January 2001, about four months before Levy disappeared, Sue Wen Stottmeister, a 48-year-old preschool teacher from Aspen Hill, was jogging in the park in Montgomery County when she was dragged into the woods, sexually assaulted and killed.

I'm searching for more info on this to see what I can find, and just where in Rock Creek Park (Montgomery County) this took place.

And another small correction, but this has been bothering me all week.... Chandra was NOT looking up the Klingel Mansion in Rock Creek Park on her computer - she was looking up directions for the park, and the Klingel Mansion came up on the home page. This was said two times during the day that Chandra's body was found, by the chief of police who was on tv all day giving reports. Twice I heard him correct a news person who said this and he said "It was the park, and the mansion just happens to come up on the home page".

The America's Most Wanted show had about a 5 minute update on the Chandra Levy case; at least that's about as much as I saw. He did mention and show pictures of 3 or 4 other murder victims including Joyce Chiang (sp), and implied at the end that there may be a serial killer on the loose in DC. I then switched back to a movie I was watching.

The stewardess Condit dated told the press about Condit's dating rules. Chandra also apparently told her Aunt Linda about Condit's rules. Chandra's aunt confirmed this in a TV interview. We thus have two sources that say he required no keys, no IDs, no money, and no cell-phone on any girl who went out with him.

Never Mind about this - I found another article (May 2002)about a court case on this, where some guy admitted killing her. sorry.

It very possibly could be a serial killer. John Walsh has been trying to sell that idea since about five minutes after we learned she disappeared though with no other information. He backed off for a while and now he's back on.

All we know is that Joyce Chiang disappeared 1/9/99. There were no House votes on that date.

I also researched this story last night, this guy was sitting in jail when Levy came up missing. He was went on trial during the first 10 days of May 2001 and was found guilty. It is funny how the MSNBC article did not mention that this guy was caught and was sitting in jail when Levy came up missing. It should have never been put in the Levy report they did as it simply means nothing to the Levy case except the fact that other murders have taken place in the park. It just goes to show you that these reporters are not checking into the facts the write.

Aunt Linda (Zamsky) said Chandra told he so. AMS said condit had tried the no ID thing with her, but it was a job requirement that she have personal ID at all times, and so he had to live with it.
