Oddly, on another note, it is amazing that many of the John Brown sites on Google say nothing of Brown's near insanity nor of his murdering ways in Kansas and elsewhere. It seems that history is now being written by the likes of these South bashing collaborators on this thread. They needn't rest on their laurels just yet, their comrades in revisionism will indeed come for Old Glory just the same sooner or later for all the nasty deeds committed under her banner. I wonder if these do-gooders will buckle under when their precious Yankee heritage is the object of scorn and extermination?....probably.

Actually I think the recent Birmingham convictions were in state court Mortin. Your glee over double jeopardy would be more appropriate for some of the recent Mississippi convictions or the trial of the Rodney King cops who whipped poor little Saint Rodney and were found innocent in state court and sparked the lovely black riot in LA where folks like Reginald Denny paid for those cops' sins. Of course later those horrible cops were found guilty in Federal court where convictions are much easier. Strangely, some of Denny's assailants who got off in state court were never tried for violating Denny's civil rights....I guess a few bricks crushing a white man's skull into pieces just doesn't qualify. Yep....I just love your vaunted double jeopardy....it's so evenly applied...about like your beloved hate crimes which instruct us that some victims are more worthy than others of special attention. Enjoy your brief glory Mortin...like the antebellum South...it will not last.

Whenever I see this post I tell myself, "Look away, Look away from a lame ass argument." Oh, I wish something were original inside this argument. We paid for our sins from our past that Jefferson even said we would have to pay for if there is a Just God. I believe that there is a Just God and I believe that Jefferson (a slave owner) is a better man than any alive today. Therefore, without having to argue about what a mistake Pickets charge was, and how Lee was to bullheaded to listen to General Longstreet, I'll just say that Jefferson was right: God is a Just God to all races.

or more recently in Howard Beach or Bensonhurst....the rare occasion these days when whites attack blacks mainly as a race motivated crime...quite the contrary to the reverse...do you think those Yankee Italian boys were not using the "N-word" as they killed the kid in Bensonhurst or ran the two black men into the expressway in Howard Beach?

Better yet...why is nearly all Klan, Neo-Nazi, Church of the Creator, etc. type stuff more prevalent up North? Tim McVeigh? Please explain how we awful Southerners have a role in this?
