Glad to see he will see this through. Wonder if the media in general picks this up. I was in Phoenix over the weekend and the "big" story was a 15 year old girl who wanted to bring another girl to a school dance. She was portrayed as enlightened, and those opposing her bringing another girl to the dance were "backwards." There is a lot of suppression of conservative speech here in California. Laura Bush and UCLA's commencement; Berkeley course description advising conservatives not to sign up; etc. Glad to see this slap down.

A lesson for GOP panderers
The Republican Party needs to hire Andrew Smith to help shape its message on immigration. At 18, this senior at Novato High School in Marin County, Calif., has more common sense and cojones than the hapless panderers in the GOP who have thrown their principles to the wind. .....

It is a religion of peace - on their terms.

Intolerance is not necessarily bad. Clintonesque Hypertolerance is definately bad, and leads to the INS importing arab "students" with boxcutters and changing the demographics of the nation so that parts of Queens look like downtown Karachi, or Bhopal after the disaster.

Liberalism, like Islam, is a religion of peace.

Instead of defending a student's exercise of free speech, school officials responded by turning on him. They confiscated the remaining issues of the paper, sent a letter to parents denouncing the article and organized public meetings at which Smith was demeaned and derided. Most of our school administrators today are cowards.

I have traveled all over this country, and I can say with confidence that the people of Marin County are the most arrogant, self-righteous, bigoted left-wing jerks I have seen.
That one student is a true American hero by standing up to these self-appointed guardians of truth and social justice.

This is what is to be expected when schools try to simultaneously teach the concepts of tolerance and zero tolerance!

Marin County tolerated a teen-aged jihadist; why not Andrew Smith?

Let the liberals behave like the thugs that they are. After all, Ronald Reagan's anti-communist conservativism was shaped by the communist thugs in the actors' union.

No, that was ISLAM, "The Religion of Peace." TM
