Thanks for the kind words but hey we are not just one of those Republicans Groups that sends out Media Releases and Collect Money. We take The Democrats on no matter what. Republicans for too long have not fought on their ideas and that was one of the reason why we got stuck with Clinton in the first place because BushI caved in to Dems and lost his base. We are out here to ensure President Bush does not cave completely to Democrats. Have give them what they want now since they control the Senate but once we take it back pull the damn funding.

Thanks for the post, Trueblackman. Any ideas as to who actually may have leaked the intelligence report to CBS that started this debacle? I haven' heard anyone make any public guesses either here on FreeRepublic or in the media.

Like there is something wrong with political propaganda?

Only when it's dishonest. And there was no need for dishonesty in this case. The AARLC could have compiled the records of Democrats (and Republicans) on votes for intelligence funding and reported the scores, just like any number of other groups (conservatives, liberals, libertarians, environmentalists, unions, etc.) do all the time for their sets of issues. Then the AARLC could have sent out a press release blasting those legislators who had low scores, and/or the entire Democratic Party if its average score was low.

Instead the AARLC tried to pretend there was some sort of cover-up when there wasn't. What the AARLC did was no different in kind than if an environmental organization had sent out a press release demanding that Congressional Republicans release their voting records on how they failed to protect the environment. If the Sierra Club put out such a press release, in exactly the same format but with the key words substituted, would you be defending the them just as vigorously? Somehow I suspect not.

Good post.
Who are the members of the AARLC?
Any 'AA' members of Congress?

Hey CD have you seen this one yet? What a GREAT way to start the week huh?

Thanks for the ping, MKM!

I think the Democrats have just written a check that their a$$ can't cash!
It will be sooooo pleasurable to watch the screws tighten on them.
In the meantime, watch for more backpedaling, sanctimonious speeches and outright lying by Dasshole & Co.

CD

PS - enjoy your trip!

You damn well know Democrats where all for stripping funds from The Intelligence Community in the 1990's and putting it into social programs. Hell when I was in the Navy I watched the Navy convert old S-3A Vikings into ES-3A Shadows(Electoric Listers)only to see them downgraded to tanker duty and then retired all togehter under Bill Clinton's Watch the excuse seem to be that they where a waste of money and that The Air Force and Satelites could do a better job. Well we see what that better job got us.

Can someone help me out here and produce a picture of a ES-3A Shadow Aircraft. The first production models hit the fleet back in 1993.

I believe in throwing back all the crap sent our way. There is nothing dishonest about it. Just because we know the answer doesn't mean we shouldn't ask the question.

I do question those who question those attempting to put our enemies on the defensive. I will even ask them if they have stopped beating their wives.

I do question those who embrace the use of the same mud-slinging tactics that they themselves self-righteously complain about when the other side employs them. I will even ask them if they understand the long-standing meaning of the word hypocrisy.

The African American Republican Leadership Council demands that Congressional Democrats release their voting records on intelligence funding for the last decade to see if a lack of proper funding contributed in not averting the 9-11 attacks on the United States. Further, that a congressional hearing be convened to determine what President Clinton knew about potential threats against the United States from UBL and his murderers and why he refused to apprehend UBL when Sudan and others begged him to take UBL him off their hands.

God bless these honest folks.
Clinton had the CIA down to a few pencil pushers sitting at a desk, and the FBI out hunting down bookleg Hollywood videos for his "tinsle friends" in Ca.
All the while America was being attacked.
These folks are doing the right thing. Pray for their success.
"What did Clinton and the Democrats know, and what was done about it?"

That is one of the reason I took The Government and Political Affairs Position at The AARLC. As a veteran I saw the cutting of our military to the bone the mothballing and scrapping of capable and needed military equpiment. Now we are suppose to believe that budget cutting and PC did not lead to our intelligence agenices not having top intelligence on terrorist group like al-Qeada and what they where up to.

Sorry buddy I am putting the ball firmly in the Democrat's Court. First they attempted to mislead the public on the claim they where not briefed on this memo and would have gotten away with it if not for FoxNews which reported both House and Senate Democrats where briefed on this memo.

They also said they didn't know about the "underground government" - that's been around for 40 years and they voted to fund it ( as well as them being there immediatly after the attack on the U.S.)
They lie. They get caught. It sure helps our side when they do that.
The Dems are backing off on the 9/11 Bush attack. They know they blew it - again!
The voters eyes are looking at Democrats as the hate-filled people they are. The truth is setting them fee.
