"Puff of smoke president"

Does that mean he's related to "puff" Daschle??

WOW! I was stunned when Horowitz said, "the most wretched human being to ever occupy the White House". Amazing that C-SPAN would put this on the air - maybe our complaints are finally being heard.

It is the Senate hearing -- it is not objective at all. It is a platform for a lynching and propaganda! Boxer is laying it out.,

He gave a great talk. He also answered a question I had,(sorta) about his political leanings. He did not say it but inferred he was a independent with conservative leanings and he believes the republican party is weak in the knees. He thinks the democrats are criminal. I would not call him a libertarian as some have and he refused to call himself a conservative. So there you are.

In the 1990s America mobilized its military power to go to the rescue of Muslims in the Balkans who were being ethnically cleansed by Serbian communists. This counted for nothing in al-Qaeda's calculations, any more than did America's support for Muslim peasants in Afghanistan fighting for their freedom against the Red Army invaders in the 1980s. The war against radical Islam is not about what America has done, but about what America is. As bin Laden told the world on October 7, the day America began its military response, the war is between those of the faith and those outside the faith, between those who submit to the believers' law and those who are infidels and do not.

Did Horowitz forget that he was one of the biggest supporters of Clinton's war and that those Balkan Muslims were directly linked to al-Qaeda??

The Yugoslavs were not communists when they were defending their homes. Throwing out the charge of communist is designed by the experience propagandist that Horowitz is to throw the reader off track when it comes to the blood on Horowitz's keyboard for his cheerleading the Muslim side in the Balkans that he supported, who are now linked without doubt to al-Qaida.

The Left DID undermine America's security, but so did neo-Conservative scum who cheered the loudest when Clinton and al-Qaida fought on the same side against the Serbs in the Balkans.

There is much blame to go around and I blame the Liberals as much as I blame the Neo-Cons.

If you want a real indictment of President Clinton AND those who supported his polices from both political parties read Accuracy In Media's great and punishing investigative article BIN LADEN GATE

Thanks for the heads up. Horowitz's speech on reparations was also a sock-0 speech.

My husband has been a fan of Horowitz since reading his autobiography Radical Son.

When we went to the 2001 Presidental Inauguration, that book was in his carry-on, and then he ran into David Horowitz in the cloakroom of one of the Inaugural balls. They had a nice chat about how they both abandoned the radical left and become Republicans.

yeah... what a let down to follow Horowitz with this. I was hoping they'd hit two good shows in a row. Oh well, at least Horowitz was a plus.

Saturday Night Live just did a skit with Carter and Castro that eviscerated Carter.

Made for a better coda than the C-span offering.

I expect they'll go on to bash Bush, so I have left my husband to monitor it. He likes to stay in touch with the tactics and thrusts of the opposition.

I see now why the DemocRATs are trying to pin 9/11 on Bush at this time; a pre-emptive strike.

Pre-emptive? This speech was delivered on 4/8/02 and only now is coming to be scheduled. Typical C-span delaying tactic.

Reminds me of how it was a couple months after the Fresno FReeper lunch before C-span showed it last year. Probably took that long for them to check Doug from Upland's comedy talk, and find it was all based on fact, not slander.
Perhaps that's why Horowitz's speech was delayed. They were checking facts.

Pre-emptive?

I think that they knew that this or something like it was about to break.

America begins to connect the dots.

Horowitz: "These are the forces of a second Holocaust gathering" (in the Middle East).

No surprise given the rise of The Islamic Republics of France, Belgium and Germany.
(Kind of hard to avoid with about 27 million Muslims in Europe...)
